Does anybody have or use a portable pressure gauge, if so where can i get one? what would you recommend? 
I had one with the old sliding plunger, it was stolen years ago, but came from Partco,
You can also get them here, just make sure you get one that is double ended and reads up to 10 bar

I’ve got one like that - bought it off ebay 
also got a tyre inflater that fits on the test point on an air tank (ebay again)

those air gauges are good…as long as they are clean from dust but if they get dusty just give them a quick wash and blow dry…do NOT oil them as they will then give a false reading
