100% with you there m.a.n., complete and utter clown.
Done container and swap body work out of Purfleet and Tilbury, never, but never missed a twist lock, rain , snow, night time,
What was this joker thinking ■■?
It’s my nature to (rightly or sometimes wrongly) attempt to defend lorry drivers, but in this case there simply is no excuse whatsoever. For wuckfittery on this scale he really should have his license removed.
HP Freightways from the pixelated logo locations.
But the utter spacktard has even gone to the lengths of turning the twistlocks to the locked position, yet apparently didn’t see that the tank was mounted incorrectly? This has got to be the current industry winner for sheer retardedness. They walk (and drive ) among us.

He has probably read the brief that says it is illegal to drive with the landing legs not fully wound up and all twist locks closed before going on a public road, maybe the twist looks were closed when he picked the box up, the top lifter can only go by feel and sound. It would be interesting to see how far he got from the lifter to DVSA

Another agency no doubt
Well done driver!
He wants praise for smooth driving. Probably good mpg figures too. And saving time not needing to undo locks to lift off tank.needs a bonus. Looks all in line as well.
Harsh braking or swinging it around corners would have had it over the cab or off the side. I’m surprised it got anywhere.
Promotion to driver trainer in the pipeline.
(just kidding)
If a loaded box is sitting on unlocked pins, it takes considerable effort to chuck it off.

Yes. But it’s not sitting on the pins…not at all.
Look at piccies. It is in front of the (locked) pins!
Just drive to conditions. That’s not going anywhere.
Just chuck a couple of straps over the top. Sorted.

Fair call, I originally looked at a thumbnail on a tablet and thought the driver had done the wrong twistlocks up.

I wondered if it was step frame, and the tank was somehow wedged 'tween neck and rear pins…but looks like a case of pure undiluted idiocy.
I think the driver has invited himself to tea and biscuits with the Traffic Commissioner for a license revocation and will probably wear cut off Jean shorts and a grubby hi-viz in the hope it will save his license, may has well shred it now .
Yup shocking, ironically I first saw this on a FB page dedicated to warning fellow pros where abouts DVSA/police are active at present, it’s not much worse than the curtain siders pulling ibcs around without a ■■■■■■■■ , the curtain isn’t going to do much more to keep 27ton on your back than not having a can sat on its twistlocks .

Just snorted when i read “■■■■■■■■”
Childish I know but

Well it went from Liverpool and then down the M6 before getting stopped, however said driver is now looking for further employment with immediate effect.
Surely this would mean dangerous driving which is a more serious charge with two years prison, due to the type of load, as the CPS could have a field day with this clown ?
