I know Gem Cockerel. I had the pleasure of working with, and trying to turn him into a tanker driver.

Bloody hell, Gem Cockerell, that’s a name from the past, I worked at same place as him in the early 90s, he’d just had a spell as an O/D on Whittles doing M/E in a Turbostar, I left the firm soon after & ain’t seen him since.

someone will be able to explain ,all i know is to use imagecave,or similar,and follow the instructions. was just looking at the photos and found it amusing when the phone numbers only had 3 numbers,can remember when ours was castlereagh 514,can barely remember the present number and would have no chance with a mobile number

Truckertrash, I used to work for Cavewood, out of Leeds Depot, with the likes of Brian Robson (Snr), Eddie Charlton,Eddie Taylor, the grusome twosome (Mick & Graham Shortland).
I was chatting to ET on Stena from Killingholme a couple of months ago, he tells me that out of the 80’ odd fleet of trucks Cavewood now only have about 18, of which only a handful go over the water ! what a shame !
