Truck & Driver and TruckNet will once again be attending the Truckfest show at Peterborough’s East of England Showground on 1-2 May.
You can find us on stand is A7 and our theme this year will be sleeper cabs through the decades, charting the advancements in sleeper cab design since the 1970s.
During the two days, we will be running a number of demonstrations giving tips on improving driver welfare, including how to get the best in-cab cooking along with ideas on how to stay fit and do exercise, even when you are tramping for a week at a time.
T&D staff will be on the stand all weekend to answer any questions or just chat about the magazine. We will also be offering some great subscription offers for T&D and our sister title Commercial Motor.
The T/Net staff(Me) will be there to take all the flack- drop by and say hello, its always good to put a face to a username
I’m amazed anyone subscribes to CM. They have about four articles per issue and stacks of adverts. Anyway, what are the admission prices for TF this year? Might take my son…
We are also pleased to welcome the The PDF to our stand, a small charity that serves professional drivers only please drop by and give them your support
We will be rattling buckets in style as usual but will also be able to answer questions about where your donations go and explain just how much help they have made this last few years

Me too ,there’s very little in it ,be better monthly .
There we are Animal, it will be most appreciated and if anyone else clicks the link why not take a look around the website too and find out more about what we do
We managed to beat our own record a couple of weeks ago. I had a desperate phone call at 3pm on a Friday afternoon from a current, but unable to work due to an accident, lorry driver who was destitute with no money, leccy or food.
Managed to check him out, contact the other Trustees and agree an emergency payment to him which was in his bank by 5pm that afternoon. He was told to contact us by BEN, the RHA’s benevolent fund, who couldn’t help him

Should that not be PDA?
As long as it aint the P. D…nah not even gonna put the last letter. ( Wouldn’t dare, not sure if Rikki would take the joke or not, might catch him on bad day )
Gangan:
£20.00 per person to walk around what is basically a lorry park with few extras, I’ll give it a miss thanks.
The classic ones at Gaydon are much better value. No z list celebs, boring recovery demonstrations and Tang Wavers blowing air horns (you get the last bit free at all ■■■■ riddled msas at 5am).
I’m sat overlooking the show ground getting loaded right now. Never been to Truckfest but as its only half an hour from home I may pop down weather permitting to see what the fuss is all about.
