I’m sat overlooking the show ground getting loaded right now. Never been to Truckfest but as its only half an hour from home I may pop down weather permitting to see what the fuss is all about.
Come on sunday plenty of beer at my truck

personally I am not greatly into the show and shine aspect of TruckFest, although I can appreciate a well loved vehicle, for me TruckFest is all about a social event, meeting old friends, making new ones and putting a human being behind those online usernames. the guys who have the most fun at TruckFests, park up set up camp, fire up the barbeque and pass out the beers. IT maybe full of trucks but for me its more about the people, the characters that make up our industry

The exact same reason I go aswell, the social aspect of it, it’s one of a few opportunitys you get a year where your not watching the clock, and you can relax.
Yes it’s not everyones idea of relaxing. But each to there own
Anyone see the two blue Yank trucks on the A43 about 1pm? Peterbilts I think could be KWs.
Think were going Sunday the boss has decided
Hopefully be there for the first time since 2009
Not my cup o tea but I did hear Tango Boy get a shout out in Radio 1 earlier this afternoon.

The bonus is she’s agreed to drive. Make sure you have plenty of cold ones TB.
Well… me and the Mrs had a weekend away planned from today.
What with that, and watching Newcastle getting out of relegation zone yesterday over a few pints I was on a high.
Brought down to earth today though, the wife aint too well, weekend away cancelled, and it’s ■■■■■■■ down outdide.
Seeing as Tango boy is supplying the drink,( and only for that )… if it was not 250 mile away… even I might have came down
.I would have been just like an embarrasing old uncle at a wedding, ■■■■■■ as a rat, touching up the women, sat in a corner ■■■■■■■ and laughing, and upsetting all the tank polishers by taking the ■■■■ loudly.
Anyway lads, if it floats your boat…have a good weekend there.
I’ll look at next year …maybe.
Tango Boy lies like a cheap Timex! He may well have had cold beer but he hid himself and his truck well out of sight. I must have walked ten miles to claim my “prize” but never spotted him once.
Very nice to meet Lucy, Rikki and Luke though. Bloody busy place this year, good turnout of trucks, but for some strange reason my legs wouldn’t co operate when our lass wanted to look at the Stobbies stand!
At least it was sunnny the kids enjoyed it and caught up with some friends. Thanks Rikki and Lucy for the hospitality

I went yesterday, first time I had been and enjoyed it very much, I was surprised how busy it was!
Some cracking art work on display, far too much to photograph it all but here’s one to give you an idea (I don’t know who the couple are in the photograph).
