You’re right about one thing. This forum is full of morons. The same morons who regurgitate and circle jerk the same thing over and over again, turning this site into nothing more than a boring echo chamber.
I challenge any one of them to put their money where their mouth is and start off the crusade for better t’s and c’s and amazing pay. I’ll be right behind you.
The truth is that TNUK is an internet platform frequented by mostly anonymous users who use their anonymity to quell their boredom. The Trucknet morons all have more in common with each other than they care to admit; they’re all living extremely sad and lonely lives as a result of their own choices.
Luckily this forum does from time to time chuck up some good content from knowledgeable, intelligent people who make it worth sticking around for. Sadly, these users are becoming rarer as the years go on.

I absolutely agree with you there as one of the dissidents myself, free thought is rewarded by sanctions. The forum is slowly dying because you are only allowed to discuss the best satnav to buy or where to park so as not to wade knee deep in other drivers ■■■■.

Good to see you don’t let facts get in the way of a point you’re desperate to make

Nobody has said that the OP can’t raise the point he has raised, and he hasn’t been sanctioned in any way for raising it. It has simply been pointed out that since the Government does not set wage rates, there is absolutely no point in petitioning the Government to raise them.
Of course, I would like more money- who wouldn’t?- but for as long as the transport industry can find sufficient drivers for the wages on offer, then that’s where they will remain.
