Absolutely right, if you watch this in HD and full screen on a reasonable sized monitor you can clearly see the speed drop on the lorries speedometer as he cuts in front of the car.I’ve asked Jay a couple of questions about this in the video comments, but I don’t expect a reply
I think you’re correct with this; I have tried to put some speeds onto jays truck based on the white lines on the road (assuming 9m centres) and I have him on the limiter as he approaches and passes the yellow car. Then by the time the yellow car re-appears his speed has reduced to near 40mph. I am making the moment of collision speed in the low 30s.
Unless the yellow car has developed some mechanical problems that has caused it to slow, serious consideration should be given to whether this person should have a licence.
As for Trucker Jay, unless he has a good reason why he slowed to 40 (may be he was intending turning off at that junction and then in all the excitement forgot). Then he too was driving very unprofessionally and questions should be raised as to his HGV entitlement.
Well he knows the videos are here, as he’s disabled playback on external sites. Let’s hope his employers see them and take the necessary action.

I’m seriously thinking of starting a YouTube channel called ‘Dippers ■■■■ Ups’ showing a variety of dashcam dramas where at first glance it looks like I’m in the right then go on to explain and show how I was at fault and how I created the drama in the first place.
I will of course be tackle out in the process.

I did notice at 10.55 the plumbers van joining the carriage way, from his high vantage point he would have seen it yet this Jay doesn’t little to ease off and give much space …
There a lot more to this video than meets the eye… its been edited 11.22 just before and at 11.31 after of the yellow car pulled out and he passed then at 11.42 after he dinked the car Jay turns off the camera so whats really been cut of this video
I would question that did Jay honked his horn then swerved in front of the yellow motor with out indicating or did he slam on his brakes to ■■■■ off the car driver tying to place god on the roads…
I’d be nervous about posting anything with a branded company vehicle with you visible in it onto YouTube, let alone swearing and getting on .
I’ve no idea why anyone in a vehicle that’s covered in company logos drives like a bellend.
Granted we all make some mistakes every now and then. I got caught out today on the M25 when it suddenly ground to a halt and I had to forcefully bully my way to the right so I wouldn’t end up in a filter lane taking me off it.
Held my handout with a thumbs up, quick indicator dance. Car driver id pushed in front of was fine about it when he came past. Gave him another thumbs up and he gave me a nod.
It’s all give a take on the roads. No need for aggression and antagonisation. Just boils your ■■■■ all day and you don’t enjoy the job.

As a female driver I take great umrage to that remark. He drives like a prick and women happily do not possess one of those manly objects. And by the way statistics show that women are better drivers than men so go get your tin hat on before I catch up with you with my super charged pea shooter
