All my videos are edited including the last one, so what you think you know and what you actually know is not the same.

Ok Jay mate full marks for coming on and speaking up for yourself.
But coming at the conversation from a non confrontational point of view, do you think your agressive and almost reckless style of driving has a positive or negative impact on the already poor opinion that the general public have of us, and do you not think that the superior manner in which you come across on these videos, along with your attitude, goes a long way to maybe exacerbate this ?
Also you seem to have an army of fans who are drivers, do you think you set a good or a poor example?

Dude, I’m fairly new here, and fairly neutral to be honest, and to be fair from this thread I got to your channel and saw the vlogs about strapping and curtains and tail lifts so thank you, they will be useful.
However.
Without wanting to go in for full on character assassination I will pass comment on one vlog, and ask you to go back and watch it in the cold light of day and see if you can disagree with me.

The first sentence you said to the lady in question was hostile and involved swearing (I am sure her first words to you were probably not complimentary either) but the whole thing was basically the pair of you winding each other up. And that never achieved a thing.

His recruitment skills could do with a bit of work though and he’s obviously not very confident in exercising his rights as an employer to get rid of dangerous liabilities.
Jay, a simple question that only requires a simple answer.
In the last video as you pulled in front of the car, much too close btw, you simultaneously slowed down to around 40 mph or less and I would think the car driver must have been forced to brake quite quickly to avoid running into the back of you, so the question is this, why did you brake check that car ?
By the way I have the video on my computer so don’t bother telling me I’m talking rubbish.

To be fair your boss is not daft Jay, he can see that under scrutiny you deliberately hit another road user which will cause insurance issues.
Let’s face it we all hate brake testers but what we hate more is so called pro drivers instigating incidents in the first place for drama queen dash cam moments.

To be fair Rob, he has got a lot on. It can’t be easy being a superstar rigid driver by day and Ben Mitchell by night. He’s got some big story lines going on at the moment.

I appreciate in your little internet god bubble that anything less than fawning praise and gushing admiration is classed as trolling but in the real world, negative comments go with the territory. So you edit them to look more dramatic then get all shirty when it gets taken as ■■■■ poor driving? If youre not going to put the whole, unedited clips up then negative comments are to be expected.
Although quite how you’d talk your way out of brake checking, horn blasting and road rage as “not what it seems” is a mystery.
BTW, your youtube channel says “raw and as it happens”. So which is it? Edited and not as it seems or exactly as it happened? Or are you in fact just digging yourself into a hole with excuses?

“I have better things to do” is a standard reply when you want an excuse not to have to reply. Its a pretty poor response for someone who was challenging everyone to a fight the last time.

This ENTIRE forum is wrong and it is in actual fact Jay who is a fantastic driver.
I remember my instructor saying to me “If a car pulls out in front of you, dont slow down. Keep on the gas till the last minute then slam on the anchors. Make sure to blast on the horn and call them names as well. Leaning out the window and cursing and swearing is also a good idea”
At no point was I, and I wager no one else when training to drive hgvs, ever told it was out job to deal with others bad driving.
Quite why people on the forum cant see Jay is utterly blameless is a complete mystery eh?
If what you say is true about your Boss Jay then I’m afraid it’s pretty obvious that your Boss is a ■■■■ too, How much does he value his Operators licence btw? I’m sure the Traffic Commissioner wouldn’t mind taking a look at some of “Jays best moments”.
One last thing, calling anyone over 30 a kid is kinda regarded as a compliment
