To put this into some sort of context. My teenage son subscribes to several YouTube channels run by gamers. Fifa, Call Of Duty etc. These have millions of subcribers. My lad tells me on a weekly basis that so and so has just bought a new Ferrari on the back of YouTube money. I think Jay has a way to go yet before he can think beyond paying for a new laptop.

This is what I do, I only disable Add Blocker Plus for Youtube channels that I want to support.

I have a channel with over 20k subs (not trucking). I haven’t touched it it for over a year but I still consistently get £200 every single month.
I do get a lot more views than jay though, but it’s really not hard to make good money on YouTube these days.

Its the manner of his driving, that he is dangerous, goes out of his way to deliberately cause accidents, does nothing but perpetuate the publics view that we’re all as crap as you and him and he is one day going to seriously injure or kill someone but I don’t expect a ■■■■■■ like you to see that point of view.

Wow, some of those posts were really funny, yeah I had to come on and read what you lot have wrote, mainly because My boss called me and asked me to take down the last video and said the company Facebook was bombarded with “kids from the internet” i instantly knew it would have to be Trucknet forum.
Just so you know (the guys who troll my boss) he knows I make videos on Youtube I have his permission, He has seen the last video before I uploaded it but didn’t expect (like me) to be trolled by the grownups on truck net (professional guys and gals that you are) must admit that SOME of you are funny, some seems to be little sheep, I suspect the rest couldn’t care less about me or this thread!
All my videos are edited including the last one, so what you think you know and what you actually know is not the same.

To be honest I almost feel sorry for the guy.
He’s clearly never been the most popular guy in the yard (be that playground or adult life) and as such has always tended towards being a bit lonely.
He’s found a niche that suits him and to an extent a popularity with a YouTube channel full of people that will look up to him as someone who is willing to share useful hints and tips on the basics like tail lifts and curtains and tacos.
But sadly that bit of popularity has gone to his head, and now he’s looking at every little part of his day as the potential headline to his vlog.
We’ve all worked with people like him, certainly I have in my last 2 careers prior to looking at transport and hopefully most of the people watching his stuff can take it with a pinch of salt, and quite frankly, if they can’t then they’re the sort of people that could get in argument whilst tying their shoe laces so more fool them.
I’d like to think he’d be a grown up and whatever come back from his videos will be a slap to his wrists and he’ll improve, sadly I think it’s more likely to have the opposite effect.

Hey! You are the one doing the editing, if you edit your videos to make your actions seem less rational than we would expect from a pro driver, that’s your look out.
Your videos are there to be watched, commented on, and now you are crying because to the trained eye you came up well short in several of your “episodes”…
If you can’t see how blatantly poor and dangerous your driving is, then I feel very sorry for you. A REAL professional has the discipline and skill to understand and predict potential collisions, and thus avoid them.
You have NO chance of getting away with your standard of driving in an artic, so either calm down and improve quickly, or go into the warehouse.
