Near Marlborough yesterday a truck driver was given a beating with a pick-axe handle. I can’t copy the link on my 'phone but do a search for the jey words.
Blue 4x4 Suzuki was the vehicle, keep your eyes peeled guys.
Last year I was having a heated argument with a car driver at the window of my truck when he opened my door grabbed my leg an tried to pull me out truck. He got the sole of my boot square in the face and burst his nose. He got back in his car and phoned my company to complain like a little girl.

Nothing stops an argument like a size ten through your face!
No nothing stops an argument like pulling hard on your door on the back of there heads or hit them with it first
This poor man would of been able to defend himself if he was legally allowed to carry a firearm but as is the case the law is gear towards low life criminals.

I can vouch this method works, then lock your doors and lean on the horn

My gaffer phoned me while the guy was on other line saying I had assaulted him, once my gaffer found out what really happened he was told to get lost. Still work for same firm.
The guy phoned another two times making threats about us not getting a load out of that area again cause he knew someone in the haulage industry. He was told we would pass on his details to the police and he never phoned again lol.
About ten years ago pulled up behind two cars at a pedestrian crossing, the driver of the car in front of me got out and tried to open the cab door shouting and swearing, the driver of the other car got out as well and started shouting at the fist guy. He then pulls out his warrant card and tells the bloke he is a police officer and to clear off before he gets arrested. Lol. Never seen anyone get back in their car so fast.
It seems strange that just after the driver pulled into the layby, he was attacked, obviously we dont know what happened, but it could be the car was carved up, maybe it was a domestic, and he was followed, but i have never heard of any driver being attacked without cause, ie; someone stealing diesel and was caught, someone stealing or cutting the curtains, and confronted. If the driver was assaulted without cause, then i sympathise, especially as he has a suspected broken arm, and could be off work for a length of time without pay.

Very true, aslo if he was allowed to legally carry a firearm then perhaps his assailants would have also been armed and it would have been far more serious than a broken arm.

I was attacked for stopping on double yellow lines. That a good cause for you? I suspect it was more likely he was a nasty ■■■■■■■■■■■■■ and a young woman was an easy target for him.
He probably was boasting in the pub that night about how he beat up a trucker for stopping outside his house.

An armed society is one in which people get shot at a fair old bit…if the attacker is confident you aren’t armed, you get an axe handle. If they are confident you are armed you’re likely to be attacked with something a fair bit more dangerous than an axe handle…
Though it’s time the softly softly approach with violent criminals was curbed, no doubt about that.

That was a very tragic event but things mite have been different if the school wasnt a “gun free zone” and if the mother kept her firearms secure seeing as she knew her son had mental issues.
