Truck Washing / Fleet Washing

Personally that’s what I like about mobile truck washing though. No waiting around for drivers, More operational hours for the trucks, get more done at once, No down time etc etc! Who do you drive for may I ask?

Cheers again!

I’m on for Tesco now, but was on agency for ND for 3 years in Goole

Usual question  what means do they have for getting all the trucks washed?

Automatic truck wash mate, drive in, get out, press button, job done.

Some companies prefer an auto truck wash, The majority of places use mobile contractors though i get the inpression.

Anybody else like to share where they use/ experiences?

Cheers all!

Just trying to get some more views in if I can! Different question, Does anyone drive for any “family run” companies, If so how do you get your vehicles washed there?

Again no advertising intended, Im just grasping a feel from a broader point of view!

Thanks all!

This thread is so fake. :exclamation:

Apologies if you think that.

I stated from the very first post that this wasn’t an advertising campaign, hence why I have never mentioned a business name, contact details, prices or anything to do with services provided. I’m merely investigating if company’s would rather use static brush wash systems or if they would rather take them off site, or use an external contractor.

I’ve had great responses from many users of this forum and had no problems so far.

Again I apologise if you do not agree with the previous post.

Yes, okay…

Not forgetting to tilt the cab to get the roof nice and clean. Depends how thorough you want to be.

Not for that reason at all  I stated from the start that it wasn’t an advertising campaign, I was just merely enquiring who everyone uses! If people choose to use or enquire about my services then so be it !

Cheers all!

Hi 91Dave,

That’s very clever if you don’t mind me saying so, and it’s proof that complying with forum rules is easily possible whilst getting the info you need.

:bulb: If folks happen to use the PM system to make enquiries, then that’s just fine and dandy.

Exactly  Thanks for that though! I could easily just come on here and post my prices but I had already acknowledged the forum rules and appreciate that this site isn’t for advertising  it really is just good to appreciate where people use and different peoples preferences

actually, this site can be used for advertising, just not FREE advertising

Cheers!

What’s wrong with fairy liquid ? Gets the sheep crap off the inside better than TFR

Btw, sold the Scrapia over 2 years ago

you’ve got some common sense then :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Most of the hauliers I’ve worked for seem to think that a cold water tap with a couple of metres of kinked garden hose is adequate for keeping the whole fleet in pristine condition.
“If you want a brush or wash-up liquid, there’s a shop in the village”.

Thanks for your input!

It seems ridiculous that these fleets cost so much money, yet some companies like you say, really don’t care that much. To me, i think that image is everything, especially the livery of your haulage company! Its effectively a 50ft rolling advertisement!

However saying that, some smaller firms really do go to town with theres, I know of a few in particular!
