Drove past J26 on the M25 last week in the early evening, it was rammed full of wagons.

Ardleigh has gone

If Bham truckstop you mean Lincoln Farm then yep, contact details available by Google.
Kates cabin yep also.
Cleveland Truckstop yep.
J26 (waltham abbey) yep

If you’re an editor of a national magazine(more like bog roll) these days why can’t you just google them and ring up? Ffs that’s beyond lazy from someone so ‘high up’ in a company :unamused:

We have tried that, but you’ll be surprised how many don’t answer the phone, or the number is wrong, or what is on the internet is wrong! As an editor i’m damned if i do and damned if i don’t… if i ask truckers i’m accused of being lazy in getting them “to do my work” (although I prefer to think we are being innovative and using all resources available to us to get the information!)… but if we go to print with incorrect info we get accusations of "why didn’t you ask drivers?’ or “you got it wrong because you just googled it!”

Caenby is still open

The only Birmingham truckstop I knew was at J2 off the M5 and I’m positive that went a few years ago.

+1…you might think someone in an elevated position in a specialised market national magazine might have some knowledge in what theyre representing…most likely all the time and effort nowadays goes into making sure theres not a pc word out of place in case it offends an ethnic majority… :unamused:

There is a Truckstop in Brewery St, just off New Town Row Birmingham. It looks quite small though and I bet it fills up fast.

Run by Birmingham City Council.

brum truckstop is wharfdale rd tyseley. and still open.

Only know about caenby and that is still open…
You getting a list together for the magazine■■?

Does anyone remember the Sunnyside Cafe, J5, M5?

That was as interesting a place as I ever found, or cared to.

Oakdene still open but limited parking. Thursday nights a bit of a problem as it’s a motorcycle meet place and gets totally rammed with them

The Birmingham lorry park that has the signage up was knocked down this year. I had the misfortune to follow the signs and ended up parking up outside where it was with nothing nearby.
