If you’re an editor of a national magazine(more like bog roll) these days why can’t you just google them and ring up? Ffs that’s beyond lazy from someone so ‘high up’ in a company

We have tried that, but you’ll be surprised how many don’t answer the phone, or the number is wrong, or what is on the internet is wrong! As an editor i’m damned if i do and damned if i don’t… if i ask truckers i’m accused of being lazy in getting them “to do my work” (although I prefer to think we are being innovative and using all resources available to us to get the information!)… but if we go to print with incorrect info we get accusations of "why didn’t you ask drivers?’ or “you got it wrong because you just googled it!”

+1…you might think someone in an elevated position in a specialised market national magazine might have some knowledge in what theyre representing…most likely all the time and effort nowadays goes into making sure theres not a pc word out of place in case it offends an ethnic majority…
The Birmingham lorry park that has the signage up was knocked down this year. I had the misfortune to follow the signs and ended up parking up outside where it was with nothing nearby.
