This has no relevance. Is your business empire going through a quiet spell Harry?
The number of officers involved in wrongdoing is less than 1%.
Oh, I do apologise, I inferred from your posts that we were making generalisations about an entire profession based on the actions of one or two people.
RoadsRat:
You still drove while you knowingly had drugs in your system?
How was I supposed to know drugs would be in my systemā¦it was days ago.
If it was days ago, itās likely thereād be little trace of it left in your systemā¦unless you are a heavy user.
Highway code will tell you any drink or drugs may be tracable for upto 48hr in your system. Drugs stay in your system longer. 1 splif is tracable for upto 3 wks via hair samples.
Yes, we were talking about dayās so greater than 48 hours.
The police currently donāt test via a hair sample but via blood where cannabis doesnāt stay long.
As Iāve already said, the more you use cannabis the longer it stats in your body.

Pot stays in your system for ages.
btw, I work with an ex traffic copā¦who was laterly a custody sergeant.
did his time, and now drives trucks with the real men
come and join us road ratā¦you know you want to
If youāre a heavy/frequent user it stays in your system for a long time.
Thanks for your offer but I wouldnāt fork out Ā£2k for training just to earn Ā£7 an hour.

Blimey, and the police wonder why they have a bad reputation.
Typical attitude of most traffic cops though donāt you think? Look at Angus Nairn on Motorway cops, an ex trucker who more than likely run bent who is now preaching his gospel to other truckers as though they are a ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā

Itās just annoying when people canāt win an argument, So they resort to the āwhat if it was your wife and kidsā scenario.
Itās like when the counrty went all politically correct. āHow to get off with this? I know, iāll play the race cardā.
Same tune, different lyrics.
Thereās no proof he was stoned. They found some joints and some weed. It would be more worrying if heād smoked the joints and the weed.
He could have been ill.
Iām just thankful that idiots like yourself only make up the minority of the population.
Had you bothered to read the link, youāll have read that the police had received numerous calls about the manner that the truck was being driven. Once stopped, the driver failed a roadside impairment test. How does that make your theory look now?
can you explain to me why that copper isnāt getting prosecuted for doing 140mph on the A1ā ā ? Any other member of Joe Public would have the book thrown at them but as usual itās one rule for the boys in blue and another for the rest of us.
I think itās quite important that the likes of roadsrat and other traffic officers come on here.
He has clearly stated he doesnāt agree that what other officers have done is acceptable. How would you feel going on a cycling forum and everyone accuses you of driving like a knob just because they think all truck drivers are the same.
Itās nice to see a more human side to these people that we cross paths with due to our jobs. Lets not forget the help they can offer when it comes to answering questions.
Maybe if you can just clear up crossing a double solid line to enter a layby facing the wrong way then Muckaway will be sorted too.

But probably less than 1 percent⦠(based on my own fabricated āstatisticsā)
Interesting! We get numerous ātameā traffic cops posting from time to time, so instead of using them as an invaluable tool for gaining info on relevant legislation or perhaps even giving them an insight into the daily problems we have to content with thus giving them a more balanced view, no, we abuse them and when they bite back we accuse them of being corrupt or unprofessional!

Way to go guys.
The bloke reckons heās a police officer, Yet he makes assumptions based on hearsay without proof.
He assumes the guy was guilty of being stoned.
He also assumes that lorry drivers are uneducated.
His attitude suggests he is a wannabe copper.
A propper copper would be impartial, He would wait until there was some evidence before making any sort of assumption.

Have you read his replies back to everyone??
Or his user name? Or his location? Or his signature?
As pointed out by numerous others, āRoadsRatā is just a runt who was bullied at school, and now obtains job satisfaction from punishing others in revenge, now that he has finally achieved some type of power and respect, based not on his looks, intelligence, charisma or charm, but simply on the uniform he wears to work and the big blue lights on his car.
I still like engaging with him though. Thereās nothing more pleasurable than a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent!

I think this unhealthy obsession with Angus Nairn says more about truckers than it does about him.

Nothing wrong with my replies to 99.9% of the members here. I treat the knobs likeā¦knobs. Simples!
