if you rang up first they should of given you parking,i’d say that’s breach of contract, allbeit verbal.Nonsense. What if you ring a shop and ask if they have a particular item in stock and they say yes or your local sports team to ask if they have tickets available for Saturday’s game. You don’t ask them to reserve it or put it aside for you and pop down to get the item or tickets. In the time it takes you to get there others have been in and bought the item or tickets and by the time you arrive they are sold out. Are they obliged to supply you with something they no longer have? Of course they aren’t, you’ve no more got a verbal contract with the sports club or shop than he had with the truck stop.
Apparently Juicy Lucy down the road operates a First ■■■ first Serve policy
No good to Lucy if your flat.Ha Ha
You’ve gotta hand it to Lee. He’s come on here, right or wrong, gets slated but still fighting his corner after three pages!
And he’s got a date with Donna!
Hats off fella.

I just wanted to ask is over night parking a major issue in the UK?The main issue for many is finding parking when you start looking for it with minutes to go.
That is the issue, trying to do a full card of driving.
You have to accept that if you’re looking for parking after about 6pm, then you need to be prepared to park on 8.30-8.45 (9.30-9.45)drive or you’ll be getting infringements, because you’ll only get away with it so many times,

.I walked to the truck and as I passed the trailer i noticed that one wheel had a massive bolt stuck in it.I went and pointed it out to the chap on duty and said there was no chance of me moving till I got it replaced.By the time the repair guy came out and changed it I was well over and going no where for the night only bed…
Stroke off luck you had a bolt to put in your tyre
Remember some time ago motorway service stations bringing in charging for over night parking and really started to enforce it hard with all sorts of threats.
Only problem was someone found out that these service areas were rented land and they couldn’t rent it out again which they were doing really by charging for space for a time.
Wonder how many T stops and services try they’re luck here.
The old shell garage at Londonderry cafe had a few spaces. If u used them u would get a tube of grease smeared on ur window just above ur wipers. That was a laugh. Not.
sorry guys,my bad, thought he had rang to reserve

There’s no excuse for reducing a reduced rest. You’ll probably do time for this. If it was me, I’d be destroying my card and burning the lorry out.
+1 to all of the above plus,i think id also be considering to be on the safe side, hopping on the dublin ferry and delivering spuds for a few years till the heat dies down.theres a shop in tallagh that sells wigs and false beards as well .
