I’ve just parked at watling street truck stop on a 15 and the guy said I can’t stay as they are full. There is ample room for drivers to get out so I refused to move. He said he’s calling the police. Who has right of way here

He does
I’ve refused to move and I’m waiting for the police do you think they will move me on. He’s refusing to take my money
Your break will be up before the filth get there, you’ll be fine lol
IF cops come just get them to sign off on your card and move on,
He’s right, you’re wrong. I don’t see why there would be doubt about that?

Well, suppose somebody walked into your front room at home and refused to move. Who would have right of way there?
if someone parked on your drive at home because they were out of time you wouldnt just accept it would you ? its their property, if they want you to leave then you have to
It’s not some ones drive though let’s be fair.
Well if your not causing a hazard and not blocking any one else I don’t think Cops will shift you out on to the road as a Tired driver not knowing when you will find a safe place to park and possibly cause a serious accident in the process.

good for you if you’re on a fifteen?
how can he take your money?
15 hour day ? Or 15 minute break?
if you’re parked up, and he won’t take payment! Free parking for the evening young squire

It’s still private property. They have a limited capacity, if they exceed that limit they can be shut down or have their licence limited further.
I understand it’s private property but they also have a duty of care. I came here to park sadly and I actually rang ahead. I’d get into trouble if I went over my 15 surly
What if I had a couple of beers whilst I wait. Couldn’t move me then or is there a drunk in charge law that would kick in. I’m leaving at 0515
I am interested to find out what the cops decide

LOL !!
don’t have a drink or yu will be in the sh you know who
Duty of care or not, they are full and they have refused you entry. It is their land and they are free to do as they please. If you won’t move then you are trespassing (I think).
