Truck driver I suppose - never really thought about it

I use ‘lorry’ most I reckon in relation to myself as a ‘lorry driver’.

But outwise I often use ‘truck’ and ‘wagon’ as well, sometimes ‘motor’ or ‘vehicle’ for whatever reason. I think I just like to vary what I say for dramatic effect…or something.

Distribution Executive.

Ken.

I tend to say HGV driver as far too many 7.5 ton van drivers call themselves truck or lorry drivers.
It cost me a lot of my money to get my HGV & I’m proud of it.

Currently…a marquee erector  until I get a driving job. then I’d be a lorry driver. A truck can be anything including a pick-up. and I didnt pay £1000 or as-good-as to drive one of them :exclamation: :open_mouth: :sunglasses:

:sunglasses: goods relocation engineer :sunglasses:

All of the above i suppose. But as you said dave does it really matter. We are all professional truck driver’s,and we should be proud to say that.

I say i am a slave to the haulage industry which is about right when you work for wincanton.

I,ll be in the office on friday as usual boss but any chance of letting me know in advance how much blood you require this week?.

 Lorry driver is my preferred choice. But i’m not the slightest bit bothered with either. And i hope they never stop looking astonished!

What’s in a name?

a rose is a rose no matter what you call it

through age and health I am now a van driver, run my own business and proud of it, and I respect all other drivers until they prove they don’t deserve it

age comes to us all, poor health, far to many
