just a thread to see how many of us get annoyed by silly mistakes made by truck designers. i drive a 61 plate man and the sun visor stops short of the screen pillars letting the sun in. also the nearside mirror and windscreen pillar make a blind spot big enough to loose a whole artic in. having been on magnums for years i find the step positions really awkward to enter and leave the cab when parked in normal width truckstop bays.
DAF’s and Iveco’s with their silly quarter windows that make it impossible to see anything in your nearside mirrors when the light shines off it.
man curtains too small.
My FH12 (admittedly it’s 15 years old) for not having a cup holder, twice yesterday I lost my tea
A bin!!! Why don’t trampers trucks have a factory fitted bin? I use a plastic bag and hang it off the passengers arm rest and when I pull the lid down to get something out of the fridge and I end up putting a hole in the bottom of the bag. Well annoying.

Hang it off the passenger side door handle with a big bulldog clip instead.

Night heater pipe in a Scania always get broken/ripped apart as it’s in the storage locker.
Any truck that doesn’t have the hazards/headlights and work-light switches easily accessible from the ground without having to climb into the cab to switch them on.
The position of the night heater switch on the Renault Premium. If you lean over for any reason, you find out that you are very hot ten minutes later.

The headlights are too easy to turn off by mistake when using the indicators on Premiums.
Good points to all of those criticising the Renault. Can we rename the thread: “Renault’s Mistakes” please?
