I think the likelyhood of someone hitting the car would be higher as its a smaller object. Yes there is a risk of collision on a 70mph road but he had the advantage of a 50ft long sodding lorry in the daylight. If people can’t see that they ought not to be driving.

Ok so what is your view on the drivers actions in blocking the motorway/protecting the scene while assisting a casualty?
In this case, it seemed to be the right desicion, I would be interested to see any police responces though, sometimes the police praise the actions on persons actions first on the scene etc.
I do wonder though if somebody was to block a couple of lanes of a motorway in what they thought was the right thing and somebody was to drive head on into a vehicle blocking live lanes would they be any concequencues?
I’d suggest that the person driving into a stationary vehicle would not have been paying enough care and attention. Matters not in my mind whether the stationary vehicle was there deliberately or not.
chester:
In theory you may think your protecting a injured person, but your roadblock could cause a fatal accident.
No I disagree. The driver, driving with out the required level of care and attention, running into an obstruction would IMHO have the greater, if not total, responsibility.

Feel free to call me a troll if my response is not to your liking.
FFS don’t complain about personal attacks and then invite them. Hardly a consistent debating position is it?

I’ve not complained about personal attacks!
I’ve mearly pointed them out, as its just not cricket.
Why you getting angry?
Edit: managed to correct a spelling mistake there, before anyone noticed phew.

The first instance of yours that I quoted
you know the one in which you said

how is this to be seen if not as a complaint?
Angry? Not angry (yet) don,t like liars, bullies, hypocrites and the self righteous. Some or these behaviour traits I recognise in your responses to my posts on this thread. Maybe time to go and think why that might might provoke a terse response.
So going by your logic, if I were to pull into a layby and walk up to the butty van and ask Doris.
Bacon butty, no sauce please
Is that a complaint?

Chester, you come on here looking for an argument, and no doubt you started rubbing your ■■■■ when you got one. FFS, if you’re going to troll, at least offer some entertainment a la Glory Boy.
What do you expect from a lorry hating poster who’s profile pic is stolen from an advert you see in gents bogs? I have to change urinals now if it’s That advert. Gives me the shivers Chester grinning down whilst I take a ■■■■■. And that was before you mentioned the rubbing. Eughhhhh.

Yes it’s grounds for a complaint if you specifically ask for no sauce and the vendor puts sauce on your purchase but I would suggest that your initial request for no sauce would be specifying your wishes not a complaint.
Can you hear someone ringing a bell? Must be time to go back INSIDE the school

Can we both be in agreement then I was specifying no personal attacks as per forum rules and not complaining about them?

I’ll consider your “complaint” as such because I quoted from a post in which you were responding to others who had exchanged responses because of perceived spelling/grammar shortcomings. I bore in mind the earlier responses, and tone used, and sought to set aside the “off topic” part of that conversation.
I don’t know whether that is agree to disagree or disagree to agree. In any event this is drifting off topic again so I’m off to spend time away from the web. Enjoy your afternoon in what ever way you choose.
