Right person there at right time, cannot fault him at all, well done
I’d give him another medal, imagine all those Arrogant BMW & Audi drivers flying past at 50[emoji57] mph.
What if it was a member of your own family ?
Top guy for doing that.
Unfortunately most of the country seem to be selfishly in a rush these days.
I have seen some elaborate excuses to get a quick break on the tacho, but this wins hands down.
Despite the country being full of selfish so and so’s this guy kept cool under pressure and got his priorities right. Well done to him.

Good on the fella. I’d like to think I’d do the same in that situation, but the arrogance and annoyance of the other motorists is a sad but reflective view of society these days
I’m shocked !
that someone actually reads the Sun
Nothing wrong there apart from the arrogance of the car drivers
The road would have been closed once the cops etc got there so no problem

It’s a depressingly sad state of affairs that some people haven’t got 5 minutes to spare whilst somebody clearly in need of help is moved to safety.
Also a bit sad that the bloke felt the need to take a picture of the scene to ensure he doesn’t get questioned by the office for stopping for 5 minutes, although in truth that was probably more for a momento of his heroics.
I read one of the media reports concerning the horrible accident on the A69 last weekend (2 dead 8 serious) and the comments section was just depressing with many complaining at how they were delayed! Driving seems to bring the worst out in some.
Anyway, back to this thread, great on the driver stop and help and protect the scene, he may have saved that womans life.
The last sentence in the newspaper article is a bit odd though; “South Yorkshire Police said they had no record of the incident.” so what happened next then, did they flip the car back over and she drove off ?
South Yorkshire Police said they had no record of the incident
Odd that.
And why did they mirror image the picture of him behind the wheel?

may be they tried to get his cap on the right way around, but their photoshop tactic clearly failed

Not odd at all. After all it is South Yorkshire Police we are talking about. They had no record of 100s of girls being raped and sexualy abused by Asian gangs in Rotherham, no record of brutality at the Battle Of Orgrave and falsifying statements or no record of lying through their back teeth over Hillsbrough.
We are talking about the most incompetent police force in this country.

& didn’t they interview the Yorkshire Ripper half a dozen times over a few years, allowing the Nutter to carry on with his killing spree ?

No I’ll give them their due on that one. It was them that actually caught him during a routine traffic stop in Sheffield.
If I’m not mistaken he was with a prostituite in the car and they found the hammer he used during the attacks.

My thoughts here are that you think the lorry driver was in the wrong for saving a trapped person from the car because he blocked the road.
Am I right?

I would make you 100% correct considering the identity of the person who posted the OP
