Why cautioned “as it is a crime scene”? People are interviewed under caution because they are suspected of committing an offence, not “because it is a crime scene”.

Under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) witnesses are routinely questioned under caution.

Rubbish. Under the PACE Act people are questioned under caution because they are suspected of having committed an offence, not simply “because it is a crime scene”. PACE Codes of Practice Code C has the full details, but it is summed up in the Guidance Notes thus:

“There must be some reasonable, objective grounds for the suspicion, based on known
facts or information which are relevant to the likelihood the offence has been committed
and the person to be questioned committed it.”

They were doing something stupid and paid the price for it, there lives. RIP

I hear they had gas in side the vehicle to make it go faster like the cars in Fast and the furious. Might explain why it went up straight away

You just lost all credibility and respect you might (or might not) have once had on this forum.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh deary me.

The single, most killfiled poster on this (& a few other) forum talks about credibility & respect !

Maybe but he’s right this time.

If the A Team were involved, The Subaru would’ve had a front tyre shot off by George Peppard, it would’ve hit the island, rolled over and the occupants would be seen crawling out of the wreck before it exploded…
…Just as Colonel Decker and the MPs in green police cars arrive (Murdock having nicked one of their choppers).
Oh bugger, I forgot to mention the White Corvette with the red stripe.
Bet the end credits would show the Subaru flipping and exploding before the guy with the typewriter tore up the script at the end. :grimacing:
