It’s time I ask my boss for a pay rise. …
Down A23 last night into Station Rd in middle of Croydon in a decker,
tipped load of Kitchens into that Delta Point building development.
Piece of pish!!![emoji6]

99.9% of the truck drivers on here are trunkers , they find it difficult when they have to negotiate services for a break , so you can understand them ■■■■■■■■ themselves at the thought of London![]()
.
But yes it’s not a problem .
It’s as bad as you would imagine
What type of work are you least likely to go into London?

Agricultural and livestock probably
Moving cattle

Moving cattle
As that’s already done by London Underground and the railway companies lol
When I worked for M & S Toiletries we did London to shops in an artic 40 ft mind. We did all London all areas . Getting parked near the shop was the main problem and the parking attendents but the firm paid all the tickets so no bother really. You got to just do it ,the first few times its a bit daunting but you get used to it. And the things you see ,the people ,its very entertaining sometimes. So if you get London just go for it mate.

Sunbeds
Well I did Wed afternoon with same decker in Broughton Rd in middle of Manchester for collection this time of groupage.
Never seen so many clothes retailer shops!!!
Always cracks me up when you hear a driver moaning about doing “London” when he’s been to Iceland at Enfield

Actually I sympathise with that. London holds no fears for me, it’s just another road, but that hateful couple of miles from the M25 to Iceland and back takes some beating in the most horrible stretch of road in the world competition.
It’s a regular drop for me and I avoid that stretch at all costs as there are a few ways around, I even end up going totally in the wrong direction to avoid it.
Btw Jay, was that you at Papa Johns pizza place in Dagenham on Wedenesday?
Baldy91:
Basically I’m giving tramping some serious thought however most trampers including my dad seem to always mention the London word which I have up to now thankfully avoided. So my question is… Is it possible to get tramping work that doesn’t involve London?
Is that you Gary?
muckles:
look for a job delivering bedding and feed for farm animals, but then you’ll probably end end delivering to one those City Farms.
That’s what I do; but I still get inside the M25 occasionally. City farms aren’t too bad though, usually some nice totty working there.

No mate, not guilty. I know what you mean about bullsmoor lane, it’s a bad design of the lights that causes all the traffic. I always come off at 26 and through Waltham abbey, or north on the A10 then right after the print works. Both ways bring you to the lights on the quiet side. Proves my point about whingers though. Nothing to worry about if you have a brain. Too many blindly follow sat navs then wonder why it goes wrong

If you’re determined to avoid London just because of what you’ve been told by other drivers you should avoid RDCs like the plague
Well heading for middle of Croydon again Mon night, doubt I’ll not sleep the rest of the weekend worrying about it!!![emoji15] [emoji597]

Not surprisingly being that the M25 doesn’t denote London and does contain plenty of rural areas within it.
Don’t be a wuss.
