Too easy to give way to the right ON the roundabout. :grimacing: some people just have NOT read their Highway Code since becoming a motorist. :open_mouth: jump the red all the time, company procedures state keep the vehicle moving, save fuel at 44 tonne at all cost blah blah blah. :unamused:

There some roundabouts that need traffic lights, been sat at a few for a good while before I just had to floor it. I’m not too bad at 26 ton, feel sorry for those at 44 with an arsetronic.

Toyota island… A38 / A50. Used to deliver steel to the car plant there. Trying that to pull out at that junction at rush hour was hairy :open_mouth: Timed traffic lights would have been a blessing as cars came round at nigh on m’way speed :exclamation:

This is a major part of the roundabout problem in this country. They are far too big, allowing traffic to drive too fast around them, so joining traffic has no chance to filter in, which is what roundabouts were designed to allow.
