Tour trucks photos?

Without doubt, the UK is the leading supplier of trucking to the touring industry.
Here’s what Hungary has to offer…

This collection of vehicles brought in the local lighting and sound equipment to the Arena in Budapest.

After unloading, trailers were dropped inside the Arena.

Couple of attempts at something a bit arty…

Something from this week.

Outside the CKK Arena in St. Petersburg.

Gavin, with our two double-drivers, Gary and Paul, pose with our ■■■■■■ driver who brought us from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
For those who are interested, the car is a Dodge Caliber.

Breakfast stop on route from Kiev to Moscow at typical Russian cafe.

Sorry, not a truck picture, but may be of interest to some.
This is the main route from the Ukraine/Russia border, heading towards Moscow from Kiev.
The cows had been for their daily graze, and were on their way home to various houses along the route.

A common sight on Russian roads. This one had run into the back of an old Kamaz sugar-beet truck, and it looks as if
the driver may have had a lucky escape.

good stuff graham, love the arty beat the nite shot :grimacing:

Here’s some scans of a Stardes sales brochure I came across recently while looking for something else. The front cover is truly scary :open_mouth: but there are some very good photos of the fleet inside (real photos were glued into each brochure). I was Stardes’ Sales and Marketing department for, oh, maybe a whole week? The brochure is NOTHING to do with me though!

This is one that i had this summer

Loading-in at Sheffield City Hall.

And from the other end…

Any chance of pics of inside loaded trailers, always wondered how much stuff each trailer carries i presume its mainly the black cases on wheels.

Are Dinosaurs like Parrots, if you keep a blanket over them they think it’s night so go to sleep?

Completely off topic (though every other pic is a DAF), but why do some of the Super Space Cab 105’s have a traditional single bulb top marker lights (this pic) and others have the massive marker/main beam cluster ? Is it an option or does it distinguish a particular model ?

The spot-cluster is merely an option - at the expense of a lot of cupboard space.

if they are not specced you still lose the cupboard space too, as we found out! :smiling_imp:

what was that matt, the spare t?
i had t-rex on, left paris on the sunday night, before 10pm, plodding up the a1, spotted customs in the services, 2 miles up the road, they were on me, 1 pulled in front, 1 up the side, on went all the flashing lights, so i gave em a flash, and pulled in behind them, at the next rest area. think there were 7 of them in total, in 2 cars, the guy that spoke good english, asked why i was on the road before 10pm, i explained, and showed them a copy of the permit we all had. he then asked what was in the back, so, i told him, he looked a little bemused, he obviously told his colleagues, as they found this hilarious. surprise, surprise, i had to open the back doors for them, oh how quickly they stopped laughing, when faced with said t-rex :grimacing:
