That was my Uncles’ unit; used to pull the low-loader trailer and when not on plant moves ran to Blackthorn Premix out Smiths Concretes’ pit at Hardwick. It was replaced by that S reg unit that I posted up while back, wondering what had happened to it.

Ah! now we know how you got a start at Smiths Nathan!!! Anon.

Not sure if this has been posted before; Found on image search, and I believe it’s on Bubblemans’ thread.

What started with buying a cheap Union Jack flag to keep the sun out is turning into something else; I found the old sunstrip in my loft the other day and using window suction holders (£1 for 8 from Tesco) fitted it yesterday. We get given polish and window cleaner; now just keeping the tassled curtain urge at bay :open_mouth:
PS; I’ve been given a Mack bulldog by friends in Canada-just trying to figure out where to put it…

Looking great now buddy , I did two trips from Eynsham mill Tuesday to Stow on world and was looking out for you

Just remember John, if you get some work with us just and I’m off keep the windows shut and feet off the dashboard and engine hump. Thankyou for your cooperation.
PS; I’ve had some complimentary comments about the old girl now…(and the expected “Why’s he allowed to block up the windscreen?” and “Why’s he got a Gardner sticker in there when it’s a CAT engine?”

I think thats disgraceful putting a Gardner sticker in the screen Nathan! For one thing it contravenes the “trade description act” and for another it is an insult to Gardners!!! Written warning at least I think!!! Cheers Dennis.
