Yes damage limitation could be the reason .

Never seen one, ( a sleeper cab ) since the new planner arrived they ain’t got time for a ■■■■ let alone a sleep.
No sleepers Jakey; Closest thing is my cab; took the storage box off the hump so I can sleep at breaktime. You’ll be pleased to know I washed the old girl for the third time this week, old kite badge shines a good 'un
I delivered some type 1 to a funeral director in Haddenham near Thame this afternoon; Nice old boy, tip was a bit awkward due to low wires and the fact type 1 is a little sod to get moving, but customer was pleased enough I got to where it was needed to build a garage.
I was glad not to get a backload from there though
The address was at a dead end aswell before anyone asks

I don’t know what if anything’s coming this year; A lot of talk, but Dad has the oldest one used regularly (the other 02s are spares but are both lovely wagons to drive). Dad likes his Foden, but the trailer’s showing her age, it’s got a good payload (tad under 30t).
Keep those Foden’s running Nathan.Several this way carry over 30 ton with low aggregate trailers.I would think only the Renault Premiums would match that these days.
Cheers Dave.

I surprise people when I say I’d like to try a Hino or an Axor…Our dozer driver at Gill Mill reckons my wagon will make him redundant; She just ploughs on and tips further back than many others He said he can tell when I’m approaching, the big growl and the bark of the Jake brake…better than anythingon local radio

On the transport page, is a pic of Dad leaving Gill Mill.

I’ll ask Mr Saunders our sales manager but I’m sure it was a dead loss
Hey Nathan , I keep seeing your old S reg sprinter van (workshops) out side the covered market in oxford , looks a bit scruffy now .
That was part of the plant side of workshop; There’s an old VW van that belonged to construction still doing the rounds and my old S reg has been about too. I’m in Oxford right now down Rose Lane off the High Street; I’ve got a part load that the groundworkers wanted on a 4w and I’m waiting for a mini Topmixer to drop into digger bucket…I think this’ll be an Eddie Stobart tv show moment when I eventually move.
