Tired all the time on day`s off

No energy, used to swim and bike a lot,but now only want to sleep all day and tired all the time, any suggestions to what this is.
Energy drinks and coffee have no effect, can have 2 Red Bulls,3 to 4 coffees,no stimulation like it used to.
Blood sugars were ok at last testing.
Mid afternoon,i tend to make blunders and more mistakes on simple tasks.

It’s called getting older!

could it have something to do with your diet

You need to have a better diet by the sound of it, are you overweight by any chance.

A lot of garage garbage, you know the stuff that is quick to eat, used to have my cooking gear, gas stove, but can not be bothered with it lately.
While on euro, you live like a king, fresh trout stuffed with ham, lentil soup, great for lowering cholestrol and the trygliceride levels.

16 stone Bloke.

 Try making an appointment with your GP. He may just advise you desist from sleeping on the backs of trailers.

Imagine some driver hooking up to the trailer and has no idea there is a body in the back.

get your suger levels checked, you may have come diabetic

Hope not.

How do you sleep ? I mean, light or very deep ? Are your eyes ok ?

The energy drinks etc don’t work really either, they have more of come down than they do an ‘uplift’.

I found out last month i have got gout and i am only 31! I very very rarely drink these days,i think i have twice this year only.I dont particularly eat lots of red meat but some people just get it.I was about a stone over weight and was advised by the doctor to eat smaller portions and try to eat better.I eat veg but i dont like salad stuff.I take the dog out now on a regular basis rather than letting the wife take her all the time and i eat more fuit now.The weights coming off slowly and i feel like doing more on a weekend and on a night.Set yourself a goal and try to achieve it and if it works then great and if it doesnt well you should be healthier anyway! The other thing is are you sleeping properley? Alot of people suffer from sleep apneia but dont know about it.Its where you stop breathing in your sleep for a few seconds at a time.Usually those that are over weight suffer from it.

It’s usually if you have a large neck size too that, which could be linked to over weight etc.

agree with previous posts re sleep apnoea

I went to see the doc a couple of years ago with the same problem.
Diagnosed as suffering from mild sleep apnoea.
Saw specialist who simply advised better diet and advised that in my situation no need to advise DVLA.
now, I know that someone is going to post that you MUST inform DVLA, so I am only repeating what the specialist (who is in expert in this condition) told me.

Better diet I was over weight earlier this year but changed the way I eat I cut out Bread pasta or anything with wheat in it but do eat lots of fresh fish veg chicken eggs greek style yoghurt

It can take time but once you look at it & start it it is quite easy only drink bottled water or green tea cut out coffee as well

If you want can send you some stuff about it as it is called “eat clean” which is slightly different to healthy you can do it there are several of my friends losing weight ( mainly on f/b & yes we can support each other )

sounds like diabetes to me…exactly how my mates brother went

and he was thirsty all the time as well

My Dad was same way before he was diagnosed with diabetes. Endlessly tired and moments of huge confusion sometimes. He has it totally under control now thankfully

I was like that AFTER I retired from driving for a living, after many tests it proved to be an Iron defficiency in my blood. Caused by my own hand, I used to take an Ibruprofen tablet daily to combat shoulder pain through gear changing and carried on taking them through habit after I retired, stopped taking them and ate plenty of veg (Broccoli, Spinach etc) and within a couple of month’s I felt fine.
