I quite like the Newton Aycliffe one, for us it’s always a drive up the day before and tip in the morning, the Locomotion One just off the estate is a nice pub.
Have heard that also believe there is a shower in there for drivers but as it is less than 1 hr from home I never stop there
All incoming drivers at our yard in Malaga are allowed to use the showers/ drivers room and canteen ect. Im only just down the road at Nerja but have a shower and something to eat before going home…its cheaper…

Only ever seen them at 1 depot ever but it was not a lidl or an aldi, was a big place in Kent, I think drivers worry to much about vosa/dvsa, more chance of winning something on the lottery than getting pulled, in 28 years only been pulled about 5 times for a road side check and l last time was about 19 years ago.
VOSA are flat out in Lidl Livingston on average would be in there at least twice a week had me for an hour and a half, still made the time pass while waiting for the paperwork

There are 2 showers on the goods in side, they’re better than a lot of the motorway services.
