I’m presuming the was built by British Leyland as a demonstrator rather than bieng built for a customer, anyone recognise the reg number ?
Nice pic of the yard opposite Peakstone Sepo, I see Geoff Kidd’s F7 to the far right.
I came across it in the late 90s looking a sorry state. It was parked near Wredon quarry, where Cantrells have their yard. I showed the pic to Kiddy a while back and he told me he sold the wagon to a lad that ran out of Shining Bank. I don’t know how it came to end up at Cantrell’s place though.

Formerly owned by Catherall’s Haulage of Treuddyn near Mold (hence CHL number plate). Went bust in 2009, used to run about 12 trucks iirc.
