Yeah and you keep the same trailer most of the time. You can have a trailer for months, or you could have 3or4 in a week, just depends on the work. I killed my other lorry
last week near Leominster.

There’s about three this colour on the road at the moment, and one more from tomorrow. There will be quite a few like this coming on over the next few months.

I heard from a reliable source that Scania matched the price of a Daf CF when they quoted for that one.I reckon they might for 6wheelers as the new MAN 6w (not gone on the road yet) is about 500kgs heavier than a similar specced CF (which haven’t been as great as promised). They’re quite taken with MAN at the moment, heavy but very tough and agile on rough ground.

Man alive i don’t miss tipper work. Def not for me that…

Still to be fair my DAF drove superbly. Quick too when she was empty. I do think tippers look impressive i have to say.
