For a start it’s the big cab and engine normally found on 8 wheelers. Smiths wanted the smaller cab but not the 7litre engine. The auto tailgate adds about 100 odd kilos plus the big steel body. Just my opinion, but I think next years’ 6ws will be Daf or Scania; The Daf CFs we have with the same body carry 800kgs more.

It tares 11.4t, not 12t if it only carries 14.6t.
My Daf 75 R-reg tared off 8.96t on its first day of work back in 05’. Mind you it didn’t have that scaffolding along the side.

I’ve seen this loading outside Rick steins fish restaurant in padstow,they have to revers all along the quay
