We can on usually ■■■■ past everyone when we are loaded. As for people slagging tipper work off I’ve done multi drop general and abroad work and think tipper work is the best work as someone above said done by 4. No nights out. Get to go rallying in the tips. I currently do tipper work in london. And only thing I don’t like is the trafficAnd that my scania has such a crap turning circle
I also like it when a big job finishes (new shopping centre, housing estate etc) and you can say “I did the (whatever) in/out of that place”. A bit like a builder or chippy I suppose. I think it’s one of the most skilfull rigid driving jobs as you have to reverse right upto the point where the material’s needed to unload;no forklift to carry it etc…
Id agree with this, i was part of the muck removal process at co-op
s new RDC at Birtley and its the first thing that springs to mind every time i pass

Nah a couple of my mates do it they all jacked trucks in to drive coaches fair play to them one does Blackbird Leys night bus in oxford all i can say is leaving me in a room with Stobarts Mo for a week would be less punishment and less frightening
Yeah its not a bad job, made even better when you get a tip and or complemented on your driving
What other jobs do you get to see things like this when loading
Ask Truckeygar, he’s delivered to a railway yard early in the morning, with several steam locos lighting up. I do RAF Brize Norton a lot, nothing shakes you like a VC10 taking off when you’re sitting on the taxiway!
One of our drivers has been to Kate Winslets place, said she was sound.
or this
got to agree Molepower if i’m having a bad day, i look at the surrounding area where i’m either loading or tipping, and think to myself "this beats a warehouse any day

Hi all was just sat here wondering why is it that most truck drivers seem to have a bad opinion of tipper and bulker drivers?
(some) run as bent as horse shoes, work 7 days a week, back to back shifts and end of each day their paper chart turns into a frisbie or they put their digi card in cash machine to wind back the hours:!:
Been on fridges for 4 years now and am board out of my tiny mind trying to get back on the tippers not been a lot about at the moment though
