This is what happens when people dontpark in the designated

Risk assessment says come into the yard turn left then swing round to the right and reverse back onto bay ,but some numpty has parked his dot- com van on the left side of the yard and you’re worried you’ll hit it with the tail swing of the tri as you swing round ,so even though the risk assessment says you must not try to manuover whilst there’s dot- com vans ,
you’re it a rush and want too get tipped asap you decide to turn right and then swing too the rleftso that your tail swing won’t hit the van ,but you hadn’t spotted the over hang of the building on the right and you hit it ,damaging the roof and putting a hole in the top of the d/d :unamused: :unamused: :imp: :imp: :imp: zb dot-com vans .

Dozy by name…

“In a rush”
Not any more… all that paperwork - have you got over the wrist cramp yet?

You can’t blame the van driver because you ram raided the building. That’s why the risk assessment was done and the risk to the building was probably identified. You were rushing, most probably because you wanted to get home for the weekend, you went against the risk assessment rather than speak to the back door manager, then blame a van driver because it went wrong :open_mouth:

It is so much easier to get them to move the van.

just hold the horn on, they soon come running out as they don’t want complaints from the neighbors.

No excuses for poor decision making. You should have got hold of van driver end of. Not worth the riskb

Driver crashes into building. Blames stationary inanimate object. Love it

And they’re going to let you loose on a flatbed loaded with steel?

Sorry dozy but theres one constant in a lot of your posts in that you need to rush about and are time limited.
Try and seperate yourself from external pressure, there is no rush in this game apart from what you create yourself, your the captain of your ship just go at your pace.

Do it once do it right, hurry up and take your time etc are the motos I try and work by.
If you can remove the pressure from yourself the job gets so much easier.

Risk assesments although often pedantic and patronising are in place for a good reason, if in doubt stop relax and have a walk round to look at yhe hazards. Prolly better to hit the van though.

It’s a wonder the world didn’t end before we had risk assessments lol. I’ve done hundreds and hundreds of deliverys into tight tesco shop yards and never once read a single assessment. I trust my own eyes do that carry on.

Just admit you ■■■■■■ up and stop trying to blame risk assessments or dot com drivers. Too much eh a blame culture so there is, man up!

dozy you don’t do yourself any favours mate by posting your ■■■■ ups on here, best keeping shtum at times like this

any pics?

No wonder Dave Dee, Beaky, Mick and Titch booted you out of the band, you sound like a bit of a liability.

There’s a sign in the service yard at the potteries in Hanley

“Accidents don’t reverse lorries do” :grimacing:

Errr, no, that’s what happens when you rush and go against the risk assessment. Get the van moved or get the warehouse bloke out to watch the back end of your trailer.

If they won’t move the van or watch you, you refuse to enter the yard and tell them the delivery’s going back.

Simples. Done it plenty of times, it’s amazing how quickly the store manager finds someone to move said van.

Which part of the highlighted bit didn’t you understand, Dopey? No wonder drivers are treated like idiots with you behind the wheel :unamused:

Poundland are the same cars in the way usually staff cars too busy in the shop till you go ask who’s car was that? Usually does the trick.
Winchester is 1 can get in but can be 2 hours waiting for blue badges to shift to get out hourly paid no point risking hitting cars so sit back and wait .

Plus what The Sarge said ^^^^^^^^

Its got to the stage where i dont read his posts, its either on about his green plague trauma or a total load of bollox that normal drivers have no bother with
