I thought it had a nice look to it and knowing the way the Hyundai car range has improved in the last few years (as good as anything else out there) it got me thinking that maybe they would be the first Asian manufacturer to break into western markets.
They already have an established dealer network for their cars, so could easily sell and maintain lorries alongside the cars at first, before stand alone lorry facilities were needed.

What are your thoughts?
hi mark,
agree with you 100%,tbf that is an impressive looking vehicle and if they are as well built as their latest generation of cars, they will be worth watching.

Because there’s less chance of it turning into a fiasco on here.
What?! A “fiasco” ? How?
I put it on here to get opinions about the lorry from people have know a bit about the lorry game, not for it to descend into a load of ■■■■■■■■ and anti Stobart/agency rubbish.
Most of the blokes that frequent this forum will remember the failed attempts of Hino to break into the European markets and can comment from that perspective.
Also there isn’t a Korean forum on this site, so I could’ve put it anywhere.
Looks nice . bit of a cross between a Merc and Daf. It’ll be interesting to see the interior layout , switches etc and what the cab trim will be . hopefully not the rubber sponge flooring like Renault or Iveco.

Don’t blame you: not many trolls on the Old Timers’ forum. I Googled this truck but came up with surprisingly little. I found a site all written in a far-east script, but looking at the pictures and recognising some English numbers I came up with a 520 hp unit with an automated gearbox. Pic of the truck below. Robert
I see they are offering a Tag axle on the unit I can picture them going into the Yuill&Dodds and Anderson tipper fleets they will find the shortcomings in them but no hey they look very smart might surprise you. Eddie.
It’s an interesting thought Newmercman. They might well be the first to succeed despite having a preference for roast dog for dinner - someone will for sure - and they already have a strong presence here.
Looks prettier than most new kit coming out. Cover it in lights and a Roo bar nobody will know what it is.
Still - Why does nobody make a wagon you can trust to take you to Asia anymore? You need to be able to repair a motor in the middle of nowhere to do that kind of journey. Bring back the modern equivelant of the 141 and watch them sell. Jim
