All the best for your Hazard and Theory tests for tommorow Wrams, sure you’ll pass them with flying colours.
Tim.
Its not that bad really like others have said it is mostly common sence questions. I only used the Official DSA Theory test for drivers of large goods vehicles book, I suggest having a good read of that. The hazard perception I dont know what the 3 click method is but I think the aim is to click when you first see a hazard appering then click again if & when the situation worsens/changes ( but dont keep clicking). This is what I did and passed.
Good Luck for wednesday! Let us know how you get on

Thanks Kate, I will update this tomorrow afternoon/evening and let you guys know how I got on
Good luck, the theory is fine aslong as you’ve read the book you’ll pass. When i did my assessment the guy was so relaxed it was a joke, just went for a drive down some b-roads and had a chat along the way, he just kept saying “its easy aint it, just like driving a car”, the whole way through lool.

But i got this package
Thats the books I have already, I’m 97% confident of tomorrow but I’d rather be 99.9% confident
Thanks for the goodluck and help everyone, hopefully tomorrow I’ll be coming home and saying the results we all want when taking tests
Good luck for tomorrow matey, don’t rush the theory questions, you will find that you have tons of time .
You will come out of there tomorrow with the pass papers and think to yourself…what the hell was i worried about!! .
Keep us updated.
John.
Thanks John,
The thing I keep asking myself is ‘can I get 85 out of 100’ I do hope so
I think I’ll pass but as with anything that you have to pass there are always doubts in the back of your mind.
Again thank you for your encouragement
I have just come back from taking my theory, hazzard perception and module 2 and I’m sorry to have to announce that I failed my hazzard perception by 3 ■■■■ point. I passed the module 2 with 45 points and theory test with 96 points. I am really ■■■■■■ off with myself and I felt really confident to. I failed doing it at home and it took me 3 times to get the hang of it, to be honest I think its a luck thing, I seen all the hazzards and clicked accordingly (even doing the 3 click method) and still didn’t time it right. If you ask me I think the hazzrd perception test is the biggest load of rubbish.
Any tips because even clicking when you think its right doesn’t seem to be.
I should be retaking it soon I’m just waiting for them to get back to me, tomorrow at 12.30 I have an hours assessment drive so hopefully that will go just right for me, fingers crossed
I reckon you are allowed at least 20 clicks for each 40 second clip. Why not use them?
If you see any new moving object CLICK horse CLICK sheep CLICK ball CLICK little old lady CLICK vehicle in a side road CLICK. Do this before you even think about what they might be up to!
Sneeze CLICK (you might have missed something). If the object isn’t clearly doing something sensible CLICK. If it actually does something stupid CLICK. Oh and watch out for brake and indicator lights CLICK. What are they doing?
Never double click CLICK-CLICK. It thinks you’re trying to cheat.
Have you tried these freebie Hazard tests online?
Caveat:-- I got busted on the double hazard clip (Multiple Sheep Attack) for an unusual pattern of clicks; but I still passed.
I did click everytime I passed a parked car, person walking along, cars on other side of road and left side of road, cars, buses and lorries turning, cyclists whatever you can think of its just if your to early it doesn’t count and if your to late then ‘0’ points are scored.
Still the multiple choice and CPC module 2 are complete so hopefully monday or thuesday I should have passed the hazzard perception test.
Both those sites I’ve tried but only this afternoon, also I have the AA hazard perception DVD Rom which I will keep practicing on.
Thanks for your help
Well done for passing your cpc & theory. least you got 2 out of 3. Just keep practising your get there. Good luck for when you re-take your hazard perception, keep us updated!
Sorry to hear you failed the HP test Wrams, it really is a load of crap. You can spot hazards “too early” and not get any marks which is ridiculous.
I bought some software to practice for my test, I think it’s called Driving Test Success - Hazard Perception, and I highly recommend it. I think I paid about £3 on Amazon for it and it’s well worth it, there are hundreds of clips so you never see the same one twice and it teaches you what the test is looking for and when is best to click etc. It looks and works exactly the same as the DSA test.
If you are nearby (Mansfield, Nottinghamshire) I will give you my copy for free. If you are more than 300 yards away, it would probably make more sense for you to just buy your own considering the price of fuel. Chin up mate, you will nail it next time, at least it’s only £15 for another go.
I’ve just noticed your location mate, sorry. As it happens, I’m actually coming down to Bristol this Saturday to visit my sister. Let me know if you want it, I think I’ll be around the Windmill Hill area.

Dont worry mate that HP test is a complete load of BS, seriously!!! i was confident too, passed every mock test on it with high scores, came to take the real thing at test centre and it was all the same, seemed easy ect, bloody failed it twice too!!! missed out 1st time by 4 points, 2nd time by 3 points!!
It’s crap thats all i got to say about it and lots of other people feel the same, it’s a joke test!
Goodluck next time.
The HPT is just a money making racket…you will crack it next time, maybe doing all 3 on the same day is a bit of a brain drain and this could be what made you fail the Hazard part, next time its just that one so you will nail it easy .
Good luck.
John.
Thanks guys and gals,
The thing is I did the hazard perception first my brain at that time was quite fresh and ready for anything
I can’t see what sitting in front of a 19" monitor clicking a ■■■■ mouse button to pick up on hazards can do to help someone drive…? I have been driving for quite a few years (I’m 40 ish) and I know what hazards are and when they happening. Looking at a screen and looking out of your windscreen is alot different. In 2012 the driving tests change again so soon you’ll see no-one on the roads at thise rate unless there grey haired and wrinkly
I just hope I can re-sit the test soon so I can start thinking about taking my practical test and mod 4.
Again thanks everyone for your support
Shame you failed, hope you pass next time though. Personally i think thought the hazard was a good thing, its easy to slate it but certainly get you thinking, the test is to see if you can perdict when these hazards are going to happen hense you have to click very early to get top marks.
I found very little consistency between the practice discs & the Hpt test , good luck with it when you get a date !!
