You know who managed to break the fridge door last week (how the hell she managed it god only knows) . Local Euronics, new fridge, next day delivery AND install and remove the wrecked one, extra £30. That’ll do nicely .
The old dear fell yesterday coming out of the pub, she wasn’t the worse for drink, she’d had her usual 2 pints. Two stone steps, I was helping her down, and she overbalanced, down she went. Luckily no damage done but she’s 85, old folk can’t do with falling.

I’m going to get the scrap man who advertises on facebook marketplace for any scrap to come get the old washing machine. Still haven’t heard from AO about delivery yet, I was hoping they’d be on the ball today as I’ve got four hospital, doctors appointments this week with my missus & older family members who don’t drive any more. Hope she’s OK, my missus has had two bad falls over the last six months & she’s never been the same since.

What will say new washing machines these days only run on cold water .
and have that many different programmes. And apart from quick wash most take hour half plus.
But quick wash works fine for me

Joys of box trotting!
Once was given 0900 Shepton Mallett house move SUNDAY! I said are you sure-yes he said,I’ve checked. So there I am bright and breezy all the way from Tilbury. Knocks on the door, poor lass opens up in her dressing gown. Got your container says I, Tomorrow says she! Quick phone call to pointy shoes and am in The Albion till 1000 Monday they’d got the time wrong as well! Nice Sunday lunch and beers, kip, then a walk down the village 'cos Albion didn’t open Sunday night!

You ain’t guaranteed a shower (can’t recall the reason why, it s a while since I stayed) and a pub that has no draught bitter.
Probably going back 15 or 20 years-was alright then.

had misses with me for day .
we stopped off there for breakfast asked if we could have a shower and woman behind bar looked at me said your not having a shower together here you can go one at a time. And she made a point of making sure my misses stayed there untill I was done

If it was my place I’d be running it to it’s full potential, trying to attract drivers with special offers, maybe entertainment once a week, pushing breakfasts with vouchers, loyalty cards , etc
It’s a prime potential parking site considering the amount of trucks that pass it everyday
I pass it regularly and you never see any more than 3 or 4 overnight parkers.
As I said last time I was there the food was good, but the parking ticket I went for didn’t include a shower, you had to pay extra and they had took the Sky Sports off….although it was advertised, and no draught beer….in a pub!
So I wasnt impressed, Bridgewater cattle mart is much better.

was a woman and young girl working in there at the time ..and they kept an eye on me while misses was upstairs in the shower. Make sure didn’t sneak in with her.
Just made us both laugh when said have 2 breakfast and we’re both need a shower and her response was not together your go up separate

My week just get better continuing from week end
Todays F ups
1 hour in Solent London gateway then went in DP world and computers crash again so cranes were at standstill ,so was in there for over an hour

Now sat on hard shoulder of M25 near 21A with a M12 bolt in NS steer tyre and my time ends in 10 mins
Tyre fitter gonna be another hour been here 2
