The weekend?

House down road from me all lit up but can’t decide if its for Halloween or Xmas.
Just covered windows and door frame in flashing lights

Splash the cash…a Garmin dash cam. Quality.

That HP dashcam has just arrived, nice bit o kit once I fathomed out how to set it up, the instructions only came in Chinese, so the mobile phone translate camera app came to the rescue.

It works fine with a good clear picture, I’ll wait until the car’s been in for it’s service in two weeks time before I swap it for the old one as it’s easier to take out. This new one comes with 3M sticky pads whereas the old one is a suction cup type.

The service department don’t allow dashcams inside the garage.

Tonight’s tea is going to be, Haggis neeps & tatties.

Well not much fun this weekend
Running in tomorrow early and back at it 7am Sunday after 24 hours off :money_mouth_face: so no cider tomorrow night

They don’t want you to see what they do with your pride and joy while they’ve got it!

That’s a bummer, I had a Weston’s cider delivery yesterday of a box of 12.

Lovely Jubbly, the last time we had haggis Neeps & Tatties was when we toured the Scottish Islands.

We had this dish at Tummel valley near Pitlochry & liked it back in the 90s.

I like a bit of haggis myself,…but out of a tin? :money_mouth_face:

It reminds me off those tinned ‘‘All day breakfasts’’
Or THIS food based monstosity

:joy:

LOL I must admit it didn’t look appetising from a tin compared to a fresh Haggis but my mate up in Preston Pans put me onto these Grants tinned Haggis saying it’s the next best thing to fresh.

It tasted really nice & the missus liked it too.

Ah well…I’ll take yer word for it.

(But I’ll still give it a miss even so.
:joy: )

Mate you must love it

How much? My latest car came with a Next base setup front and back but haven’t a clue how to work them so not tried it yet

Same here with my weekend.
Didn’t get my last drop off at Truro until 1630, so running well late…still parked in Devon
Re.load in morning (if ready ) and run back home.
So Saturday is a write off for starters.

Sunday?..see my mother in care home, visit a couple of other older family members in mirning, maybe watch Man Utd getting thrashed in afternoon, either at home or if anybody is going out, in Spoons to watch it.

Mon bit of time with Mrs…maybe lunch out.

Tues be in usual ‘bear with sore arse’ mood in afternoon psyching myself up to start back in Wed morning…then back to it.

So still a long weekend again despite Saturday

I’ve just set up the HP go dashcam app off Google Play Store on my phone so I can download the files to my phone or change settings on the dashcam via wi-fi.

Many a true word, one of my grandsons had a ‘black box’ fitted to his car (insurance needs), car went into the dealers for something or other (warranty). Grandson gets a call from insurance company telling him his insurance was about to be cancelled, a cretin from the dealers had taken the car out on road test and given it a lot of ‘Italian Tuning’ , the black box had recorded excessive speed.

I sent the haggis pic to my mate in Denver USA & he said WTF are you eating the dogs food lol.
