Thought I would bring to my local MP’s attention,my buddy,the speeding activities of our senior STC and today I received a reply which I thought I would
share with you.this is the most interesting part…from the Minister of State John Hayes CBE MP.
I can confirm that the Department is aware of the covertly filmed footage of
Beverly Bell,the Senior Traffic Commissioner driving her own car in Lancashire
that was made available on social media.The incident was brought to the attention
of the Lancashire police force.the police considered it did not meet the evidential standards
to indicate any offences took place.They arrested an individual in connection with the filming
on the basis that it may be interfering with the holder of a judicial office.The Crown Prosecution
Office[CPS] did not ultimately decide to prosecute the individual.
Interesting response,now we at least know why ‘part 2’ was not shown but you also have to
consider with onboard vehicle cameras on your rig today,film a Judge or such like ‘eating babies’
while driving along… you might be the one prosecuted.

How can she continue to sit and pontificate in her own inimitable pompous way over ordinary drivers, when she has been shown to drive like a ■■■■ herself.
Just because her influential friends in high places refuse to accept it as incriminating evidence, does not alter the fact that it is evidence.
This story just stinks to high Heaven and illustrates that the old British Class System of old, is alive and well in the 21st Century…disgraceful.

This is why I’ve no time for it. She does a job which isn’t going to be popular with drivers but most would probably agree it’s a job that does actually need doing.
All she had to do was release a statement with a bit of humility along the lines of ‘everyone’s driving standards can drop on occasion and I try to remember this in my dealings with professional drivers’ and that would have been fine.
Instead she’s attempted to have someone that was following at a safe distance criminalised.
There should be some kind of petition to get her out of her lucrative job, and/or somebody should make her office aware of the bad feeling on a national driver’s forum.
I reckon her position has been compromised because of this, they are just relying on it being swept under the carpet and forgotten.

Ok, realistically it more than likely will not make a ■■■■ of difference admittedly, but from little acorns etc etc…
them,us and the old boys network…job done,though id like to know how you can interfere with someone driving their car,when your driving your own car 500 yards behind them without them knowing your there?..the lid will be put on it bigtime,and the sanctamonious ■■■■■ is drawing too much wages to resign…
i wonder if she uses the same kind of tax as lady penelope from thunderbirds as when you check her car tax,it shows as no vehicle exists?

Apparently her term of office runs out in spring 2017 and she is reported to have said she is she does not intend to seek reappointment. I tend to think the decision and nothing to do with the video.
I’m pretty disgusted at the police and CPS in going after the reporter, but I’m not remotely surprised.
