I know a bloke who does the same single drop every day. He says he doesn’t care as he gets paid £500 per week.
Would drive me insane though, I like to get about as much as possible.
Driving a truck is tedious. Wherever you go, whenever…(especially on nights)
So, if I can earn the same money with the least hassle then I will. I don’t get paid extra for looking for new places, that awkward reverse at so and so, dealing with the different systems in place at different places, and any other aggro attached to finding drops.
So, on balance, I would happily drive to the same place each shift, every day and trot back again. As long as the ££££ was bang on, I couldn’t care less.
As has been said, the M5 and M1, M25, M6, M27 etc. etc. etc. all look pretty much the same at 2am!!

I guess the m25 looks a lot better at 2am than 7am
