The Road Ahead - A Video

I’ve been working on a non trucking video for a while but wanted a break so instead of working on it this evening I spent a couple or three hours putting this together.

Best watched at 720p setting.

Whats the song? good vid there, I know how long they take to put together.

Another excellent production, Neil.

I must admit that I found it very relaxing to watch and listen to!

Whats the song?

The Road Ahead by a Dutch band called City to City.

I think in places it sounds a lot like REM’s Everybody Hurts.

Neil,I am having problemss as words fail me on how to show my appreciation
of all that hard work and talent you put in to each of your video,s .There
must be a film festival where you can show these and get the richly deserved
reward, you would win as your films capture every ones attention and we all
enjoy and love watching them, Thank you very much,

Another fist class video, very pleasant and relaxing to watch.

great stuff

Once again, I’m stuck for words. :frowning:

Keep 'em coming Neil, they’re very enjoyable.

Mmmmmmmasterpiece.
As above: “very relaxing video”

That was done in Adobe Premiere Pro apart from the title sequence which was done in Adobe After Effects.

Yes, as you’ve probably seen there are thousands of those things, I actually like them, along that road, especially in the area that used to be the DDR.

Brilliant. Your diaries where one of the reasons I joined TNUK. These videos are somthing else entirely

I agree with you about the song sounding a bit R.E.M ish

Right that’s it, I’m going to have to put a lot more effort into shooting and editing my videos!

I enjoy your videos a lot. It was your recent ones that made me want to start making videos again after not doing any for a few years, so it’s all your fault. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks that’s nice to hear. I suppose the ramshackle haphazard making of my videos is part of the appeal! Love the way yours tell a story without you saying anything. And the light.

very good, i enjoyed that immensely

great stuff

A FIST class video?? …there could be conotations there! :stuck_out_tongue: Seriously though, yes another FIRST class video. As I stated not a few weeks ago, I think you’re wasted driving trucks. Keep 'em coming Neil.

It is and I like when you talk to the camera, I don’t mean looking at the camera telling us, the viewer, something but when you actually talk to the camera - “Come on, focus.” :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s the only way I’m going to tell a story, although I think the song has more to do with telling the story than me. There is not a snowball in hells chance I am appearing on camera and talking as you do in yours. although there is one of my videos where I do a Hitchcock and make a very brief appearance.

switchlogic:
And the light

Shh, it’s all about the colour correction.

So romantic that song and video captures a newbies image of the on the road
