COOL
Excellent Neil as usual. Great vid. quality and yes, the backing track does remind of Everybody Hurts.
yet again neil posts yet another great video
just watched it on WS HD TV brings back many memory of germany
why the non trucking bit neil it was a great video keep them coming
Yeah I give you that, good editing and dubbing with good use of filters…
It’s only a camera stuck in the dash looking at euro tarmac. Don’t let the replies give you an inkling to enter Robert Redfords short film contest. I’m completing a new road to the new Birmingham Hospital I’ll give you a shout before it’s open to the public MR STONE
I’m sorry, just my Irish sense of humour got the better of me… I should’nt knock it, my hobby is fell walking and wild camping and intricate wire and rope work, which are both boring to the masses I have come back soaked to the skin today and once again sorry… but I ain’t far off the truth am I ?

why the non trucking bit neil
Not all the videos I make are about truck driving, I do other types as well from cartoon type things were for instance I used pictures of a favourite soft toy of a kid I know and animated it into a little comedy sequence for them, to other travel type videos, to a short film with a Sci-Fi aspect I am working on at the moment, that’s the one I took a break from to make this trucking one.

No filters involved in the shooting, it’s just bog standard video as shot by a consumer camera. When editing I do colour correction and use masks and vignettes to get it looking how I want.

Don’t worry, I know exactly what they are and they will not be entered in any film contests whether it’s Redford’s Sundance Film Festival or the local camera club. I make them because I like working with the editing programmes and learning new techniques. I make the videos for me and the majority are never seen by more than a handful of people, me, family, couple of friends, I often see an effect in a film or TV programme and see if I can recreate it with the various programmes I have, that often involves no video at all and is all motion graphics. It’s only the trucking ones I put on YouTube and here as some people on TN like truck related videos, and if I stick an advert on the end of them on YouTube it helps flog copies of my book.

Which program that you use for edit and producer? That was done in Adobe Premiere Pro apart from the title sequence which was done in Adobe After Effects.

one more question - Where did you take (morning or evening dawn with huge windmills) A2 Deutschland?Yes, as you’ve probably seen there are thousands of those things, I actually like them, along that road, especially in the area that used to be the DDR.
Adobe Premiere Pro & Adobe After Effects no wonders why that you got 37k a year!
It is very good program, I wish got one for myself
Looking forward to see some windmills on A2 tomorrow
Cheers
