Overheard a guy saying to another driver “if that load of cornflakes is late they’re going to pull the contract”. How he was privy to that info, I’ll never know!

I imagine he was fighting with a colleague later that day.

First one to identify the haulier gets a virtual pint.

Murfitts, circa 1997. Too easy…

MMTM That you could drink as much wine as you liked on the boat or in the routiers, and as long as you kept your receipt for food, that proved you had it with your dinner so you couldn’t get done for D&D… :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

I got done for D&D 'cos I was caught playing with my 20-sided dice, and pork sword+6

   I imagine he’s claiming he “missed the Concordia by an hour” in some port as we speak…

Told on a ferry that a removal firm were unloading in Switzerland, the drivers went inside the big mansion by the lake,a lady with Marigolds on was washing up,she turned around,it was Tina Turner.

Last week whilst on holiday I overtook hundreds of brand new Seddon Akinison 8 wheeler chassis cabs and hundreds of Yellow JCB diggers. Now where was I again?

When running empty make sure the lift axle is down so it looks like its loaded and slow down when going up a hill

There is accelerometer sensors in the new tacho units which can detect whether your being tipped or loaded whilst on break…

You should put the (Fully Automatic) gearbox into manual mode, that’s the way it’s designed to drive it all the time…

Rolling a truck on downhill at 56mph which is limited to 52mph is speeding…

All according to the Driver/Trainer at KnowHow Newark, a bible of awesome information that guy.

I smell bs, anybody associated with ‘KnowHow’ probably knows nothing, screw 52mph- everybody do 56+ & keep things moving…!

MMTM …He passed a Yule & Dodds Motor on the A75…!!!

MMTM that stobbies fire their drivers if they have any creases in their uniform, Before OR after their shift!

MMTM that if a police car with blues and twos on approaches from behind and you are at a red light on your test, if you jump the lights to let him through it is an instant fail and the instructor has to drive the vehicle back due to you being unsafe! :open_mouth:

All wheel nut / bolt indicators where fitted must all be pointing at each other not the wheel rim or wheel centre.
VOSA will issue a fine if they are not pointing at each other when fitted.

I would guess they either need to point to each other( 1 to 2, 3 to 4, 5 to 6 etc, at the next one ( 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4 etc) or all pointing to the centre.

If you don’t know where they were pointing how do you know if they have moved?
