The opening scenes are disturbing, who the hell gets ready for bed with the curtains open.
Already been done on here…

Yeh, just don’t watch it or you will feel like slitting your wrists.
All the drivers are at the best miserable bastds, and at worst manic depressives.

And here was me thinking one of them was you getting ready for bed for all to see…
It’s a typical artsy-■■■■■, liberal-left BBC job. Horribly depressing, and the only ones they interviewed were middle-aged, overweight men, including an ex heroin addict!
The music doesn’t help either. You could play that music over a ■■■■■and it would make you want to slit your wrists.
It should have been dubbed with the Benny Hill theme tune, or 2-4-6-8 Motorway, that would have cheered me up.

Mate, I do not look half as old and decrepit as any of those miserable old gets on that vid.
Lasted about 3 mins. It’s ■■■■.

When I watched it, I thought it could be the story of any 55 year old bloke, truck driver or rocket scientist. Death, divorce, estrangement from offspring, it seemed to be more about a stage of life than an occupation, and all of the people filmed seemed to be reasonably content with their jobs.
Coming soon, the men who sleep in boats!
Featuring Harry and Raymundo!
I never fancied tramping. Now I definitely know I don’t fancy it.

Mush be actors then

It is very similar, except that I have a chemical toilet rather than an empty Sunny Delight bottle and a carrier bag nowadays.
Raymundo trumps me in the boating stakes though, because he does get paid to do it. If I had my time again I would get my seafaring tickets, although narrowboating does have the advantage of being able to think “Ooh, that’s a nice looking pub, I’ll pull over and bang my pins in” which you can’t do at sea.
just watched it.
i can’t get the message it is supposed to deliver. seems like an amateur work, testing the camera at night…

I’ve tramped for over 30 years mate, and even I wouldn’t fancy it after watching that…if you see what I mean.
Can’t speak for the rest on here, but it bears no resemblance to the tramping that I know, and do, anyway.

Well that was depressing. I wouldn’t might that cartoon animal duvet though, that looks pretty cool.
Dave"s missus is at home with Four Rabbits.
Ooh matron.

I work with a lot of ex-trampers and none of them described their experiences like the poor sod in that video either.
