The men who sleep in trucks

I watched this programme and it left me thinking about the realities of life for some amongst us.

Anyway, did you notice the way they were all lying on the bunk, head behind passenger seat? That is my preferred position in the cab, regardless of any uneven ground.

But what’s yours? A pointless reply I know, but it seems it must be a natural way of sleeping in a truck. I’m wondering if it depends whether you are left or right handed!

That didn’t make sense really. What I meant is they talk about meeting up with mates and having a laugh whilst cooking on a double burner at the side of the wagon. Sounds like a good laugh but I enjoy my creature comforts too much and the comfort of my own bed.

BBC iPlayer documentry. The most depressing thing ive ever watched. Enjoy

The opening scenes are disturbing, who the hell gets ready for bed with the curtains open.

Having read this comment before watching it (while lying on my bunk, ironically), I just sniggered and snorted to myself throughout the whole “blue underpants the window” part!
What’s with all the maudlin music too!!?
