The Lost Malaysian Plane

Tragic as this loss is for those with relatives on board what has become obvious is the amount of junk floating about in the oceans of the world,Might be
time for the world to get together, supply bulk carriers with cranes and magnets and to send them off picking up all the junk…’ here you are Captain,
sail off and come back when your ship is full’.They even have a major problem on Everest, all the rubbish left behind by climbers and efforts are being
made to clean it up,if they can do it up Everest they can do it on the sea.Surprised the Greens are not demanding action.

After the storms earlier this year there was a story about a container ship that had lost 500 containers. They are floating around somewhere along with a ship that slipped its moorings.

I would love to help but I need my magnet for my gearbox

It’s nice that you thought about it.

I read somewhere recently that they found a piano 1/2 way up Everest…wtf??

I like the smirnoff advert where the sea returns all the junk to land.
They have been getting debris landing on the west coast of Americca from the Japanese tsunami over a year ago. There was also a report of a large ship that was under tow when the line snapped and couldn’t be recovered so it’s now afloat somewhere between Scotland and Canada (IIRC)

It was reported on BBC news last week that there are upwards of 10,000 shipping containers floating about on the high seas that are unaccounted for.

iirc in 1992 thousands of plastic ducks where lost at sea, and scientists have been using them to study the ocean currents en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendly_Floatees

Are you sure that wasn’t the piano near that was found near the summit of Ben Nevis?

Likely more after that Japanese tsunami
And they have been washing up in Canada, one had a Harley Davison in it :open_mouth:

Yes, it’s also infested with cannibalistic rats.

Seems plausible :unamused:

The piano is on Ben Nevis, one of the strong men from the games circuit tried to get it up to the top.He did not quite make it He was told to remove it but the piano fell down a gully and cant be extracted.

I’ve just heard that search teams looking for the missing Malaysian plane have found the wings.

Tomorrow they are hoping to find the Wongs.

According to the latest news all of the debris found recently is from fishing vessels and other shipping, nothing found so far is in any way related to any aircraft.
I still have my suspicions that this plane is on some remote runway somewhere… I have a feeling that North Korea are going to bring this up as a bargaining chip when they need something.

That sounds like the wheelie bin with “Do not remove from Edinburgh Waverley Station” - found floating in the Sea of Galilee…

Rolls-Royce have the ability to tell whether the plane landed or not. The engines are fitted with a device similar to a digital tacho, they monitor speed and temp.while they cant say where the engines are they do know what the engines are doing.

About three weeks ago people living in Perth (Western Australia) were asked before they went to bed to leave their landing lights on.
I hope this helps.
