My conspiracy theory is that once the plane (for whatever reason) switched its transponder off it foolishly flew over some country who’s name ends in “Stan” who can’t afford to send fighter jets up, but have got a few old ground to air missiles lying around decided when radar intercepts showed up a “dark” aircraft to shoot first and ask questions later!
I reckon they consequently had an almighty “doh” moment and quickly set about destroying the evidence!
No need for speculation,Im sure that with Malaysias top cop on the
case we will get the full story.

They have been getting debris landing on the west coast of Americca from the Japanese tsunami over a year ago. There was also a report of a large ship that was under tow when the line snapped and couldn’t be recovered so it’s now afloat somewhere between Scotland and Canada (IIRC)
