I was going to tell him exactly the same thing Dave but he was about six foot four
and built like a brick “toilet” and I’m a drinker not a fighter.

The poor man, as you say…a trainee…he’ll learn. The only thing you put in whisky is MORE whisky.

i remember one christmas drinking in a pub jn dornie , by the old castle . i ordered black bottle , superb whiskey , and the wife asked for dry ginger in hers . i thought the old barman was going to have a seizure at the very idea . he finally pulled himself together enough to say " we dinnae keep that kind of thing here lassie " . i bet he needed a few drams to calm him down , cheers , dave

Cheers Dave.

Teetotal Dave don’t talk dirty, I’ve been that way for nearly three weeks

course before I can start sampling again.

race and that is the first time I’ve ever missed putting bets on for all members of
my family usually covering about ten bets, I wonder is Ladbroke feeling the pinch

hiya,
Yep Dave a few bob in my pocket a drinks trolley groaning with unopened bottles
and me with a face as long as Shergar’s, I’m so happy I may consider giving up the
bad habits altogether the only problem would be the wife calling the doctor and
getting me certified her thinking I’d gone off it.
thanks harry, long retired.
