have a good holiday harry , we’ll struggle on until you come back , a leaderless rabble eh ? cheers , dave

Hiya,
I’m not going until next week “Riggers”, and I think you’ll fare well without me anywhere
near the helm, most likely a bit of sense may return in my absence and that wouldn’t be
a bad thing I’ve just noticed that the hotel states “no wifi” so smuggling the puter would
be a no no. and not worth the risk of the wife finding out. She packs a mean punch.
thanks harry, long retired.

Well Lads that’s the job knackered then for the duration,I don’t know how “H” could inflict “this silence” on his thread,he could,at least, have stayed in a 5 star establishment that provided free WiFi instead of a back street B&B,he told me that his balcony looked out across the bay !! not the back of a Chines restaurant ( by the way mines Chips with some HP sauce on them “H”!) Oh! well we’ll just have to struggle along in the meantime without the benefit of “H”'s ill-gotten experience in such places as The Brown Bear in Leman St. How will we survive the next couple of weeks     All the same “H” have a good holiday mate,I’m sure you will  Cheers Dennis.

Hiya,
Just a five day four night break, with not being able to do the oe’r the watter thingy
anymore (the travel insurance premiums are ridiculous) usually costing more than a
holiday so do several of these five/four breaks over the year this will be our third so
far this year with another one planned for October when we go to London for Jen’s
birthday taking in the sights and a couple of shows, and no visit to the Brown Bear,
although we do spend a few hours in Covent Garden I don’t mind now I don’t drive a
motor for Billy Bowker so no chance of getting lumbered with a load of handball for
the Lancashire fruit markets, one of the jobs I most hated.
thanks harry, long retired.

Don’t go near the London Transport Museum on Covent Garden Harry…bloody rip off. Couple of weeks ago two “old folks” tickets…£26 :open_mouth: It wasn’t worth 26p. :smiling_imp:

Hiya,
Thanks for that “Grumps”, on a couple of occasions I’ve loitered in proximity to the museum
entrance but have never entered the portals, the wife not having any interest in old lorries
( she did however enjoy spending the wages I “hard earned” by driving old lorries,) so thank
you for the info about it not being worth the money and I’ll give it a miss, I hate being done.

don’t even go near the door harry , they might drag you in and put you on display !!

Hiya,
I don’t know about celebrity, they’d more than likely utilise me as a coconut shie where
people could throw wooden balls at me with a prize for the person who is able to knock
the glass from my hand preferably empty can’t waste the good stuff.

Harry, Come on talk to us, We all want to hear from you my good buddy, I hope you are still imbibing my friend with your fave Malts, Regards Larry.

Hiya,
Nowhere near the Scottish Borders I’m afraid, couldn’t have got much further away, in fact
have had a few days in Torquay, courtesy of David Urquhart the motor coach outfit, a bit
of a long haul for an “Old Codger” like me, Dave I did do the honourable thing and did do
the cap doffing when traversing the M5 and on a par with the Mid Welsh Border you know
just to show my respect and Larry I did imbibe several very nice single malts actually an
odd one two many one evening but I’m a survivor and after a hearty breakfast the next day
was fighting fit again and capable of having another couple at lunchtime, cheers.

Hiya,
Ang spent four days in Fort William in the Spring of this year some of the best
weather I’ve had in 2014 although the weather in Torquay this week has been
pretty spectacular too and according to my neighbours it’s been a bit grotty in
this area, It’s nice to get away, I never thought I’d say that having spent all my
working life tramping just about anywhere there’s a road and sometimes only
a farm track to motor on, but thankfully all my tramping about is done sitting
behind the coach driver, I did say when I chucked my keys in for the last time
my boundaries would be Durham and Newcastle Oh’ and Metro Centre when I
get the order from the Missus.

Hiya,
Pete, I did rather enjoy my time with the old Red and Rust so burnt orange with
white lettering and area classification would suit me fine, but I did rather like
Dennis’s livery it always looked well, go on you choose, I still do think that the
livery of Pollock’s is still the nicest on the road and it’s never changed.
