Digs have gone up a bit since my time down the road £22 !! Thats the biggest net wage I ever earned as a trailer mate in the 60’s,top line was £33 from memory. Cheers Dennis.

Whoa whoa, I think it’s our Dave the Renegade who deserves all compliments I was
just as surprised as anyone when this took off and to have got to a ton beats all
comprehension, but I reckon it must have tickled one or two lookers-in because it
wouldn’t have got beyond the first post if you lads and lasses hadn’t contributed
your imput and thanks for that it has given me some laughs along the way without
being too lorry and driver orientated a bit of daftness is darned good medicine, but
another hundred pages I suppose could happen but will I last that long to see it ■■

You’re spot on as usual “Riggers”, the only trouble with me is there aren’t many bits
left to drop off and with what the medics have chopped out I should really only be
around the two stone marker as the old saying goes you don’t have to be an idiot to
