The Harry Gill Fan Club!

you two poor old pensioners will reduce me to tears with your tales of woe and poverty . i’ll just keep soldiering on , get up early to get yesterdays bread at half price and see if my neighbour can spare a few scraps off his allotment . even the local cats and dogs are afraid to come into our garden , we can’t afford real meat any more . on second thoughts i’ll nip round to my niece , she’s on benefits , never worked in her life so i should be ok for a sub . a.n. other , starving pensioner.

Hi an other,
If you write to the Red Cross, they will drop you food parcels out of a Hercules aeroplane. Just light a big fire in the garden to guide them in, that’s if you can cadge some old newspapers.
Good luck,
A well wisher.

i can’t afford to burn the old newspapers well-wisher , we have them wrapped around us to keep warm until we have saved up to pay the fuel bills , i might give the red cross a call ( on my neighbours phone )and see if they can let us have a few candles to boil the kettle on , at least we could have a warm drink of water . thank you for your kind advice , a.n. other

hiya,
Ah’ yes “Riggers” now just imagine living in the frozen North, “like what I do”
and imagine what life is really like, my next door neighbour is a white collar
worker and he assures me he can’t afford newspapers so there’s no chance of
“borrowing” his used ones to add to my personal insulation before wandering
down to the soup kitchen before taking up my usual position complete with a
borrowed begging bowl, this lies twixt the Ladbrokes betting shop and local
social security office, dispensing my usual cry of “alms alms” for an aged worn
out former long distance lorry driver with no visible means of support. :unamused: :unamused:
thanks harry, long retired.

Blooming heck, I’m welling up here lads! :unamused: You pair sound just like some of the gaffers when you try for a pay rise, you end up feeling that you should be paying THEM! And don’t joke about Rigsby getting food parcels, my mate lives not far from him and he has had stuff dropped off by helicopter when the snow is deep. A nice spot to live for most of the year, not so good in Winter though.

Pete.

Come on Harry, no visible means of support, are you legless again??  regards Kev.

Yes, the owd buggas are going to have me crying before long, If you’re cold just throw another domestic servant on the fire. AND GET THE WIFE A JOB. Get her bringing a shilling or two in and the problem is solved. Oh they’ll bleat and complain a bit but if you’re hard enough for this marriage game a bit of moaning shouldn’t concern you.
Remember…IRON MAN is a super hero,…IRON WOMAN is a command.

hiya,
Kevin I take it you haven’t read my above post very well, please read and digest,
it does state that I’m totally penury and now no longer able to maintain a state
of drunkenness that has hitherto been my norm, all donations immaterial of how
large to be posted (with full postage paid) to my home address, Salvation Army
Hostel, Any Road , Any Town. Cheques made payable (in lieu of cash) which is my
favourite method of payment, to the Poor Fathers Beer Money Association C/O
my personal bank account which is currently at a low ebb, as am I, thank you. :smiling_imp:
thanks harry, long retired.

I like your brass neck Harry, but your wasting your time pleading poverty with me, like you I’m a poor :unamused: :unamused: hard up pensioner. :imp: regards Kev. :exclamation:

Hiya,
Kev there’s an Ah’ but here, my friend on your own admission you have just renewed
your Class 1 so you have no excuse you could still be out there earning vast amounts
of wages which is the way of things in this day and age for the professional driver
isn’t it? and also paying huge amounts of income tax to help us hard-up pensioners to
have a better standard of retirement, myself having “accidently” put my reminder in
the shredder at age sixty five making it “impossible” to ever have to get out of bed on
a cold snowy morning, no matter how much I miss that treat, so Kev so long as you do
hold on to that certification you’ll never know poverty, “like what I have” :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:
thanks harry, long retired.

As Larry says, you can’t beat some good home cooked wholesome grub, much better than half this crap in tins.
Cheers Dave.
