If “H” and me were parked up in Aldgate next week(just say for the craic) I bet he wouldn’t be so keen to wander along Leman St.,his bottle would be well gone !! “Howay Den lets gan “up West” the Tube Station just 'ower there !” I believe there are still one or two 'owd boilers lying (litrally) in wait for “H” if he ever ventured back into the Brown Bear. Oh! and they weren’t always 'owd boilers,they did have “some” of their own teeth 40 odd years ago

alcoholic drink DOES NOT cause hangovers…it’s the waking up that does it. Anyway, I’m well into my litre of Caol Ila now and I can report that it’s splendid. I have a birthday coming up and last Saturday eldest lad (gods gift to mechanicing at Volvo Truck and Bus…so he thinks 
) came waltzing in with a litre of Cardhu for his daddy 
(he’s a good lad…most of the time) I’ve never taken Cardhu so it will be a new experience.
